You wouldn't lose banish by soaking your stealth into melee and keeping your psionics, hell the psionics would be a great addition to your melee skills.

Resistances and Vulnerabilities: Vulnerable to true sight or other such effects, for it reveals them as dopplegangers

I'd like Demetrius's version of the racial abilities, because krylo's seems to have a glaring omission of such memory-taking abilities.

What confuses me is... would they have all psi abilities or only the few people choose? I want to hear it from the GM... this is getting more confusing each post.

Here is what I say.

Fuck Dopples.

Edit - Also, Banishment would only get rid of bodies/people for X amount of time (Depends on how good at Banishing one is). Living things break out faster. We can't have insta-kill after all.

No mind sucking, and IHMN is right about banishment, and the metasciences being not really psionic but just natural abilities to a doppleganger in their natural form.

Here's what I would do for your character, to play it the way you seem to want to (fighting and sneaking), RMB--

Melee: V
Ranged: I
Magic: I
Psionics: VI
Stealth: III
Connections: I

Powers

Psychometabolism (a few powers to use outside of your natural form)
Body Weaponry-III
Psychoportation
Dimension Walk-II

In your natural form you have access to all the psychometabolic abilities... so you can go natural form and use healing/cell adjustment/absorb disease/etc. to heal. Outside of that form you have access to only the abilities you bought with points, psychometabolic or otherwise.

You can fight decently.

You have the ability to turn your limbs (even while copying someone else's body) into a range of bladed and dull weapons.

And you can sneak decently.

As you were before, you really couldn't fight, couldn't sneak very well, and couldn't do... well, anything, really. All your psionics were things that would have required physical abilities in order to do much with them. Now you can use your psionic abilities to pretty good effect.

That's just a suggestion, though, and the final decision is yours.

Guess I'll go with it then. You have a better idea of this then I do. Might make for something more interesting.

EDIT- Though with 2 in DW, how far could I potentially go?

EDIT2- Did I make that fight too long drawn out? If so I can edit it and I do have a shorter alternate.

To give the cliff notes version, Gem just impersonated an act of god. Presumably the act of a vengeful god.

Of course, the giant terrifying figure is really just glamour. The wings are Gem's though... kind of. There's a lot of glamour exaggeration going on there too.

It's a cherubim by the way.

I do have to wonder what seeing this will do to the paladin.

SKitter is avoiding melee as much as he can, going for disabling shots and hoping that the shamans he drugged do some damage to the orc hordes firing off before they get taken down.
