One Must Fall: Darkened Skies
 

(Here it is, slightly off schedule)

The skies were darker than usual today and the perpetual heat thunder rocked the windows in the rebellion installation. A tall boy, with long ebony hair looked up disgusted at the befouled air through the windows.

Well so much for a test run today

He jumped down off the silver and black mech onto the ground. "Ok guys, we're gonna pack it in for the day. The weather is too out of control today to run for supplies. Finish up repairs and then the rest of the day is yours." He straightened his trench and walked off into the common room.

"Damn," Jack said, jumping out of the cockpit of his three story mech onto a platform used so he could get in and out of it. He overlooked his mech and let out a sigh, "Too bad we don't have any paint, old REX here is losing his sheen and he hasn't even seen any action."

Yea no way I can fly in this. Hey Kris wanna get some thing to eat?

ooc: Yep, we're the last bastion of defense and we're all together. Much like zoids or such.

*the wires disconnect from her body, the mech's eye color fades as the cockpit opens and she jumps out, the mech catches her and lowers her to the ground, as soon as her touch if off of it, the mech stops completely, as if it's battery died. It stays there in it's kneeling position as she turns to Zeo and looks at him*...huh, pardon me...

um... food, you, me, getting

*glares at him at first but then brushes it off, she streaches and yawns*...why not...

"I'm taking the first watch." John said over the intercom of the doughboy.

The soldier like mech then turned away from them.

"Get me when my shift is over."

"...wow, I never knew that misplacing the verbs in sentences makes women follow your orders. Thanks Aerozord (sorry, forgot the character's name), I'll need to remeber that."

Then, hearing John call the first shift, Kane moved his mic closer to his mouth and said "Second shift!" He then looked around. "So...anyone for some cards?"
