Instruments- What do you play?

I was just rummaging around my drawers that I brought to college from home to see if I had a CD in there when I found my harmonica from like 5 or so years ago. I have no idea how to play it other than its a blowing and sucking thing that makes noise. So if anyone has any tips on how to play it somewhat that'd be cool.

I was also wondering how many of us know how to play instruments and what instruments you play?

Yays! A music instrument thread!

Ok, well, it's a little obvious, but I play the saxophone and I've been playing it for about 7 years now. My main sax is the Tenor, but I also own a good alto sax and a curved/black and gold soprano sax. My tenor is a Selmer Mark VI from 1968 (I just got it, my new baby!) and my alto and soprano are both Nobels, a new musical instrument making company for which I'm doing some promotion right now (they're really good sounding saxes!). The first one, the tenor, is a very sought out instrument and I'm lucky I got my hands on it...I'm also very poor at the moment because of it, but I'm happy!

I also occasionnally try to play some flute and clarinet, since being in a big band kinda requires it. I also played the flugel horn for about a month, so I've got a little technique on that instrument. Either that, I love to sing.

I've played the clarinet for about 8-9 years, and the oboe for two years. I'm in the process of teaching myself how to play the guitar, but currently my guitar is broken, so I'm sad.

I would really like to learn how to play the piano (more than just playing by ear, that is)

I play the alto sax, though I've had the oppotunitity to play the soprano for my highschool band at times several years ago. Oh how I want my own soprano sax.

I also play piano a bit, but haven't done so on a consistent basis for years.

I used to be able to lay down a rocking bass line, Deacon style. Horrible out of practice though.
If you want to learn harmonica your best bet is street bums. They always know how to paly those things

I'm currently learning how to play guitar. Its going slowly since I have really small hands for my size... and I have been 'forgetting' to practice. Meaning I am lazy and don't want to usually when I have free time.

I can play the guitar, bass guitar, cello, a bit of piano, and I sing. I also have a harmonica that I can make pretty sounds with, but I wouldn't say I can "play" it by any means.

Trumpet all the way!!! I also can play the mellaphone, and baritone. I have yet to try the Tuba, Susaphone, or French Horn. Yes I'm a band geek. Marching band is fun. Yay!!

I used to play the piano for a while, but I kind of crapped out on that (I'm not a very motivated guy :sweatdrop)

I've played the drums and varied percussion for about 10 years
