Who was at MegaCon this weekend?

I was!

Yes, I was there and I verily rocked the entire con with my presence.

I was also at the ClanBOB/8 bit after-con hotel party on Saturday. If you were there, you might remember me as the bald guy.

It was cool.

p.s. Did you know that Brian is a DDR-phobe? We were like "Dude, we're all playing DDR. You should totally join us." and he's all "No, I don't think I will DDR amongst my own kind because I'm a pretentious bastard and I absolutely abhor fun."

Brian also dislikes Mario Kart. It tok an hour of nagging to get him to play.

It may not be the reason you posted, Slacker... it may just be that Brian is horrifyingly and embarrasingly bad at DDR. Like I am.

I, alas, could not go, because that was not ewithin my range of travel. And, of course, even though I live in a metropolitan area, no cons come within my range of travel.

Like just about everyone else on the planet is. Except Juan, he was disturbingly coordinated. I advise strip-searching him for NSync CDs at the next game.

Megacon in general was great fun, just like it always is. If you live anywhere near Orlando or can afford to travel here, you should come, you won't be disappointed.

My only other Rival is my prodige (god i hope i spelled that right.) belive it or not fencer is my friend who i shall not disclose on this one who lives Near saint louis and used to live near me until i moved back to Louisiana (pm if you want to know who he is to challenge him)!!! any how i will not accept any challenges ( i have retired and am well lets say my wife will say no...) but my friend will for me!!! if you want to know what that is to get a general idea of this secret technique is check it out at http://www.capoeira.com !!!

at quakecon this past summer they set up a DDR dance pad. and a friend of ours was tearing it up so the dude walks over and we see on the screen "tornado mode!" and we were all like "wtf mate?" and then it came up and it was super fast and all over the place. it was awesome.

Haha. That was "Juan"? I saw that. It was quite the funny.

Really? He was doing pretty well when I saw him playing, maybe he had a couple of those little blue bottles in him by the time you got there.
