#896: "The best way to help him is to let him be."

It seems Thief doesn't waste time tip-toeing around a subject when he wants something you might have.

Also, yay Charlie!

I enjoyed the fireworks, foreshortening and general abuse of RM greatly.

Go Go!! Charlie Ridaa!!!

I'm glad for the little guy, though I'm a bit surprised that you are actually going to keep him, considering the little we know about your financial status. In any case, the important thing is that the little ball of fur is getting better.

About the comic, I wonder if Dragoon is secretly Tiamat in disguise. OMG I TOTALLY CALLED IT GUYS!!!

Kroze Gamegod 09-20-2007 12:08 AM

Glad to hear the little furball is getting better and better!

And once again Dragoon takes another one of Red Mage's quotes...
"Dun dun DUNNNN!!"

Makes me wonder if he attended the same school as RM but got thrown out!
They both have the same line of thinking it appears....

We're not down to ramen and canned tuna or anything, but anyone with pets knows how cardiac arrest-inducing vet bills can be on any budget, especially when lengthy overnight stays enter the picture. But really, once he's done putting our vet's future great-grandchildren through med school Charlie won't be any pricier to keep than the two we already have, knock wood.

I'm pretty sure he's managed to survive partly because everyone at the clinic is in love with him and half-ready to kidnap him for their own. It must be much easier to hang in there and keep your spirits up when every human you see can't help but love on you and tell you what a good boy you are. All the well-wishing from readers helped too, I'm sure, if I can say that without it sounding too sappy. At any rate I know Charlie would be more than happy to thank all of you with a lot of scratchy-voiced "Eeowr"-ing and friendly head-butting if he could.

maybe dragoon already killed tiamat... or maybe the beast drowned in the great flood.

Telephalsion 09-20-2007 01:47 AM

I'd think Dragoon would use Tiamat as a mount. Anyways, Dragoon and RM are too similar for comfort.

I'm convinced that Thief could throw a small country, if it got him something he didn't have and he wanted it.

Yes, yay for Charlie :) You'd have to be crazy to NOT want to kidnap him.

Also, it's been far too long since we had a 'dun dun dunn!' Albeit, this time with a question mark. Let's hope there's not too many similarities between RM and Dragoon, might have a doubly insane battle plan to freeze everything in the universe, twice.

Edit: At least Thief gave RM a warning punch. More than he usually does.

Do Light Warriors all have ADD, or have they just inhaled too much amnesia dust over their travels? Reminds me of: BM's fogotten epiphany, and Fighter's smartmode, and Sarda's warping time to make toast with Fighter finding the swordchuck journal (to be destroyed and forgotten forever). Forgetting who Jeff is just to hurt BM again, and RM forgetting to roll his damage dice to survive Kracken.

Isn't the Dun Dun Dunnnn thing RM thing? But all the same, why is he asking?
