Exteel Closed Beta is runnin again.
 

After 9 long months of unexplained absence, they resdtarted the closed beta. Hurry up and register so I can crush you.

Might help if you told us a little about what this game is.

Yeah, I don't think I've ever heard of it.

It's a multiplayer robot fighting action rpg, like Guns or Rakion, or whatnot. But it sucks.

I tried both betas, and while bugs were to be expected, the sheer suck of gameplay that was to be expected as normal unhinged me further from my already weak grip of reality.

In example? You cannot shoot at an enemy beyond any distance your gun has. You can shoot freely, but it will only hit if you are within range, locked on, and facing your opponent. Now, why it doesn't just only let you shoot when locked on is beyond me. The 3rd person shooter look is entirely a facade, so anyone expecting Custom Robo, flee now.

Doesn't interest me in the least. After playing a robo fighting game online called "Shogo", I cannot go to anything else.

Damned robots don't even transform!

So, no chance of a movie deal?

This sint "Bitch about Exteel," this is to inform all the people that were in the last closed beta that its up again, since most people just stopped their accounts after 5 months of no info.

Aside from that, I personally prefer Exteel to other online action games, as I think the lock on range adds balance to the game, otherwise everyone would just be shootign you up close with rifles and it would suck.

I played in the last Beta, and after I got past the whole "Giant Robots! SQUEEE!" thing the game didn't stand up too well.

I personally love the game.

I haven't played it, but I think it would be good if people could use the thread to talk about their experiences with the beta as well.
