OOC: WHAT!? I'm gone for a couple days, and NOTHING happens? I'm VERY disappointed in all of you... Shame...

The doctor had settled back in his chair and soon fell asleep when Monk's reading began to beep wildly. He nearly fell out of his chair as he watched the heart monitor work it's way back up to full strength. "I knew you could do it! Now... just wake up!"



Monk could feel his body come alive again. Energy came to him quickly as his wounds began to heal themselves up. After enjoying the tea, he set it down and took a deep breath. "I... am ready."

"You are not." The old man came in.

"I am not? Master! I have completed your training! What more is there to do?"

Master grinned, his closed eyes almost turning into upside U's, making his face seem all the more friendly. He stood up and walked to the middle of the floor. "For a student to prove that his master has done a good job, the student must show that he has surpassed... the master." Monk was struck with shock. "You my son, have to prove that I have done a good job." Monk didn't move. "You know how... don't you?"

Monk knew how he had to prove it, but he didn't want to. He couldn't bring himself to take down his master. He couldn't even think of it happening. He was always too strong. Monk took a deep breath, then stood up, "Yes Master... I do know how to prove it, but I do not think I can do it yet."

"You will have to, if you want to save your friends." His hands were still hidden in their sleeves, a smile still on his face.

Monk used to love that smile, but now he has grown to hate it now. He couldn't stand the sight of it. It looked like a taunt, something that Monk didn't take lightly. He walked in front of his master, but kept his hands by his sides. "Master... I cannot, I will not!"

Master's face soon tighten into a frown. "It is your choice, but as we stand here facing each other down, time is running out."

"Time never runs out. Time is infinate."

"To the public... yes, time is eternal, but to a single person, time is only as long as it will give out to that one person. Unless another force cuts that time short."

Monk sighed at the comment. It was true. Time was not infinate, even if he wanted it to be. This dream would soon end. It was just a matter of when he was going to wake compared to when the team would get to the mansion. He looked at his master then stood in a fighting stance. "All right Master. If a fight is what you want, then it is a fight you will get!"

The master's smile returned as he threw off his robe, now showing off his bare chest. It was big for an old man, in fact, it was almost on par with Monk's. His arms were a bit thin, but they still looked like they would hurt if they connected, even with Monk's new training. "So be it..."

OOC: Some of us have to wait for others to respond. But fortunately, I have a backup.

BIC: Mastermind came to the realization that Aegis...or Angel as he was known as now, was not only a serious threat, but also the true anomaly. He quickly sent a message to all the Agents.

"Attention. Code designations for priority targets have changed. The list now reads as follows.

Jason MacKenzie (A.K.A Wolf): The Runner
Monk: The Fugitive
Aegis/Angel: The Anomaly
Coyote: The Exile

Sorry if this may confuse any of you four...but then again that's your problem now."

All the agents got the message and acknowledged, although Johnson and Thompson's responses we're a little...off...

What the hell is that virus doing to them? All they told me is that they "got lost in the game..." whatever that means.

Angel knew something was wrong. He spread his wings, then they closed around him, and in a flurry of data, he vanished.

And reappeared. Right where Coyote unloaded his last viral bomb.

The real angel wanted to come out and heal this. Angel sighed, and said, "Well fuck. This....this could be a problem."

OOC: Sorry about the wait, but I managed to wrangle in some new recruits and I'm just updating them. I'll post a little later on today...

EDIT: ???I'm not a threat anymore? I feel sad ;_;

OOC: Sorry about that. It's jsut I can't think of a codename that Mastermind would use for Jade. Also, his code naming system is not based on who he deems as a threat to his existence (well...maybe), but it's a list of his prime enemies. He's after Monk because he may know Mastermind's weakness, he's after Wolf because he's the only person that ever resisted the "recruiting" and lived (or didn't get brainwashed anyway).. He's after Coyote, because Coyote is an X-factor with a cyber-nuke (or as it seems now, a "DEATH STAR".) And he's after Angel because Angel is another X-factor, except with major healing powers. If you want I can try to think up a suitable codename...or just have everybody submit one to my via PM so I can edit the post above accordingly. Mastermind know we're all threats, but he's just too preoccupied to think up a codename for each person. (Just like in the Matrix how Neo and the Keymaker had codenames the Agent's used, but Morphheus and the others did not.)

OOC: He's after Angel now? I feel so wuvved.

ooc: He's been after me cause I humiliate him at every turn.

Wraith looks around at everyone, fidgeting his fingers. "...Well, are we goin' 'r what?! My trigger finger's gettin' ithcy."

"I'm sorry for the delay, but we're waiting on a special division of soldiers who specialize in Rogue Viruses. Special Division 307, I believe they're called. They're supposed to be very good at what they do. With the absence of Andy's group, we need all the help we can get. They should be arriving soon."
