Death Note Coming to Adult Swim?

Am I the only person who has seen this? I swear not too long ago I saw an ad for Death Note coming to Adult Swim in October somewhere in the 20's.

As much as there are fans of subs and dubs, I've only seen the subs and I'd be interested in seeing the dubs they put out.

Ryuk- Crispin Freeman

As long as they fulfill that little wish of mine, I don't care who does the other voices.

Brian Drummond (Allen in The Vision of Escaflowne; Andy Waltfeld in Gundam Seed) will play Ryuk, while the voice actor for Misa will be Shannon Chan-Kent. Additional voice actors lending their voices to this dub will include:

Rem: Colleen Wheeler
Soichiro Yagami: Chris Britton
Matsuda: Vincent Tong
Mogi: John Murphy
Raye Penber: Michael Adamthwaite
Aizawa: Trevor Devall
Ukita: Jeremy From
Naomi Misora: Tabitha St. Germain
Ide: Brian Dobson

Several of these names were first announced at the Ocean Studios panel at Vancouver's Anime Evolution convention, which was held on August 18-20. At the panel, Ocean representatives also mentioned that they had dubbed twelve episodes of Death Note so far, and that the roles of Near and Mello were not yet cast. The first volume of Death Note will go on sale on November 20.

I normally don't pay a lot of attention.

I will have to make sure to actually watch TV on the 20th.

Having a DVR means never having to make sure of anything.

I mean, except for making sure that I set my DVR to record the show on the 20th.

HD programs take up a lot of space.

And making sure you have some space left in your DVR saved program section.

Well to stay on topic, the anime looks pretty awesome. Although it probably won't be as suspenseful for me, seeing as how a read the manga up until the part where Light's father died.

At least now I know I'm not crazy and when to set my DVR for it. I won't miss it, I swear I won't. If anyone says the subs are better after it airs I'll cut them.
