what would a 8-bit theatre book be like?

what would 8-bit theatre be like if it were a book?

What is it with all these topics about what 8 Bit Theatre would be like if it were something else? Can't we all just get along with the fact that it ISN'T something else? It's a comic, and I like it that way. I don't need to imagine it as a television show, or an anime series, or a book. It's fine as is.

Hate to say it, but due to a little thing called the Copyright Protection Act, there will never be a 8-bit Theatre book.

personally, i dont care what a book of 8bt would look like. i'd buy one, copyright infringement or not.

You want an 8-bit theater book? Here's what you do. Print every single episode out on your printer. Get a binder and a 3 hole punch. I bet you can figure out the rest.

Of course, Brian might have issues with this, since 8-bit is copyrighted. So ask first.

Well, it would be possible if the publisher bought the rights to use the characters from Squenix. And that would depend on whether the potential sales of the 8BT book would make back the money spent on the rights. And unless Squenix gave the publisher a sweet deal on the rights, that probably wouldn't happen.

Note to self: "Squenix" is a fun word to say.

Canibalistic Shoe 03-10-2004 04:13 PM

Where the hell did you get the idea of Squenix? (Heh, that is a fun word.)

beinsane 03-10-2004 09:38 PM

Squenix is a semi-common nickname for Square-Enix.
