"Dr. Pepper sucks." Kevin said as he reappeared, leaning against the jeep.

Kurenai was standing next to the jeep, she glanced back to where they had come from. After thinking for a moment, she spoke outloud for the first time, "Where are all of the hostages? Are they all going to be alright?" She didn't completely trust Ormi, since he had burst into the room, not being careful at all about how he shot, and not letting Jaxon save the hostages.

Ohmi opened the door for Kurenai. "Don't worry about them, and get in. We've got a long trip until we get back home."

He didn't seem to mind that his hands were coated in blood, and there was a bloody handprint that went down on his jacket.

Kurenai glanced at Ormi uncomfortably, but got into the keep as was instructed. The thought of the hostages still nagged at her though, "Don't the hostages need to ride back to safety, or a hospital?" She asked him through the open door.

"They've been taken care of." Then he closed the door.

Jaxom got in from the other side, and leaned against the seat. He worked his jaw a bit, and checked his left arm. Both were from coming too close to a Cachisti.

"Don't worry about Ohmi. He's a naturally gloomy and depressing bugger."

Kevin had turned invisible and sat in the corner seat of the jeep. Whatever Ohmi did most likely was 'evil', and the rest of the crew most likely wouldn't like what they think he did, and Kevin didn't want to get into any of that.

Shay poked her head into the jeep, looking for a seat. One of the corner seats seemed to be clear. So she opened the door, climbed in, and sat down.

That was strange. The seat of the jeep seemed to be higher than it was before. And lumpy. And....she looked down - she appeared to be levitating a couple inches above the seat.

Oh well. If the person wanted her to move, he could bloody well become visible and tell her.

She listened to the others ask Ohmi about the hostages, and shook her head. For all of his non-answers, she was pretty sure of what she'd seen. The reason there was no need to transport the hostages to safety was because there were no more hostages. In a terminal sense. But she had a funny feeling that if Ohmi knew that she had seen him, he might try to do the same to her.......and she was pretty sure that killing your nominal superior, even in self-defence, was frowned upon in this organization.

But....that would depend whether or not his actions were supported by the organization, wouldn't it? She resolved to see what she could find out. Their network security hadn't gotten that much better since the last time she'd looked. And if they were....well....it might be time to think about disappearing. She didn't want any part of it.

Kevin pushed Shay off of his lap, and took something from her as he did that.

Now that Shay was paying attention and knew someone was there, she most definitely felt the hand reach into her pocket.

She reached over into thin air and grabbed what felt like a handful of cloth.

"You /will/ give back whatever you just took from me. Or I /will/ figure out which end of you is up, and do appropriately violent things to you."

She grinned a predatory smile, showing off all of her teeth.

Kevin looked over at Shay who was threating an empty corner. He had moved after he pushed Shay off of him.
