this semester? January. Last semester? September. but i'm in university. so that negates any joy involved in getting out early.

Don't worry FZ, I have spring break in about two weeks. But then we don't get out of school until June, because of all of the snow days we've had this year....

I should be the one complaining. I get in school in September, don't get out until June, and the biggest break I have is 2 weeks long(the Holidays, gotta love em). So don't be complaining, I've only got a week of spring break.

That's the exact same thing I have. ^^;; only 2 weeks off for christmas break (unless you count snow days) and only a week of spring break... and it's the week before my birthday... grr... why can't I have spring break on my birthday instead of spending it in school? ^^;

Same here, so I can complain if I want. I started in August, and get out in May, and have two weeks for Christmas and one for Spring Break. My school gives us next to no time off...

If we wanna talk no days off, you don't even want to be compaired with me... heheh.

I may get out of school in June (which is still late), but I get a grand total of 5 weeks off for summer.... 5 weeks. (And every single day that I don't have off since school ends I have to be at school earlier than I would for actual school...) Be THERE at 6 am... in the summer... *sigh* Why am I looking forward to summer "vacation"?

EDIT: and once school starts again in august, I only get two saturdays off until October 30.

EDIT 2: And that's not adding on Drum Major camp if I make the try outs...

(But I'm just pointing it out... I'm not complaining because it's really my own choice.... I must be dedicated... or crazy... or something.)

I feel for you gh0st, I too know the pain of University. I'm on "break" right now, which essentially consists of me being home for four days and studying for midterms, then going back to school to take said midterms. Then I finsih in May, only to have to go to work for the rest of the summer until school again whee!

How exactly is SS's guy an ex-lawyer when he is only 26? To be a lawyer don't you need a seven year degree of law or something, and then he would have to have been a lawyer, then quit and find a job as a band teacher, and it seems like he's been a teacher for a while.
