In the year 2137 makind finally invented a ship which would give them the ability to closely inspect black holes. The ship's exterior hull was of a new composition metal which a nuklear explosion could not so much as scratch and which was designed to withstand the enomrous crushing power of a black hole. Also a new type of engine was developed which would allow the ship, in theory, to escape the gravity well of the black hole and flee to safety if need be.

An experimental fighter was launched to test the new impovements by actually entering a black hole. However, according to the strict rules of the new world government, the ship was far too powerful to place in the hands of the AI onboard computer and so a crew of at least five was required to go on the flight. The UWSEF (united world space exploration federation) asked for volunteers, offering rich rewards when the ship had returned. And so a crew attracted by money, fame and respect were acquired.

After several years in cryogenic sleep the crew awakened to find that the ship had been sabotaged and had fallen too close to the black hole for the damaged engines to cope. They were pulled straight into the black hole. Darkness descended on the crew.......and minutes, or hours later they wake up in a beautiful meadow, dressed in strange old fashioned clothes and carrying old fashioned weapons. After doing a preliminary scout of their surroundings the peasents and castle in the distance finally convinces them. Somehow they have been transported back into the past and have lost their spacesip and all the rest of their tech. Not only that but they are somehow clrealy back on earth.

Finally the captain is forced to make the only descision possible, they will have to go and look for their ship (however remote the possiblity of it's being here is) and learn to survive in their past.

ok....some facts to help you with your characters:

Humanity's instinctive fear of genetic altering was finally overcome late in the middle of the 20th century and the human race has undergone many beneficial changes.

All humans now have the ability to: Wrestle a grizzly to the floor, run at 40 mph for hours and hours, breathe underwater (they also have slightly webbed feet), climb like a monkey and jump 6 times their own height. There are no longer any humans below 6 foot in height nor any taller than 7 foot in height. They can see better than a raptor in the day and in the dark better than an owl (they can also switch to infa red at will), hear better than a bat and smell better than a wolf. Experiments with wings have been tried again and again but have allways failed for a human body has the wrong structure.

Interesting game idea.

Name: Mikorlias Zard
Age: 210
Appearance: 6'11" with blond hair and shocking blue eyes, finds himself dressed in a plain red tabard with a black belt.
Weapons: Pair of Longswords.
Martial Arts: Mastered Kickboxing and is working on Akaido. Also studies fencing.
History: Mikorlias was raised in a politically radical family. His parents were both militant socialist activists, and were prepared to fight for their beleifs. Mikorlias shares their ideals, but perhaps not quite as much zeal, and left for university as early as he could. He shared his parent's prediliction for military action, and studied fencing and kicboxing while at university doing his physics degree in preparation for space pilot training. Before he left for this mission, he was informed that his parents planned to take part in a protest that was predicted to turn out violent. He fears for their safety.

Appearence: 6'4" with black hair and green eyes, is wearing black silk ninja style clothing with mask and gloves. Wears no armour.
Weapons: Twin katana's
Martial Arts: Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Kickboxing
History: Fought in the last war and is highly respected by many in the military. Parents were killed in the same war and he has made a career out of captaining experimental fighters.

I'll join if you can allay my fears about this being an excersize in anachronism. In other words, do you have a particular era and location in mind for where we've been thrown?

I would join, but just the idea of some of those 'genetic altered' abilities annoys me. You cannot keep a human form and be able to tackle bears and jump six times your hieght. You're muscles would have to be much large, especially in your legs. And is it even possible for an organism to have infared vision?

Mainly this seems like something that you want to do just so you can have a super ninja vs. stupid medieval people...

I don't want to join, because it seems like a stupid idea. We are super powered humans thrown into a world of normal humans. We run faster, are stronger, and better in any and every way then everyone else. Can you say "God-Mod"? I knew you could...

Unless theres dragons and witches. What super genetically altered human can stand up to a dragon or a witch...heck, even a dragon witch? Not even if you could jump 60 feet...oh, we got that...wrestle a bear...40 mph for many hours...breathe underwater...wow, watch out medieval times...
