#906: "And yet I'm so very alone."
Black Mage has the right idea. Never let anyone tell you about the tragedy of their lonely existence. It only encourages them.
|
yes and "show" by example is a good way to shut up people
|
Hey BM gave a warning before stabbing RM! Progress!
|
You know, BM's dagger should just be made a cast member. It passed Dr. Swordopolis in airtime a while ago.

thats cause Dr Swordopolis sucks. Everyone knows that Darko is better. |
RM yoinks BM's dagger... I did not see that coming...
|
"there is such a thing as being too illustrative"
"Hey I didn't want there to be any mistakes" ... something like that, is the exact feeling I got reminded of at the end. Fighters really trying to come up with something isn't he? Edit: Also I just noticed, just now, that Fighter said Theif, first time around my mind put a C there instead I think... Poor Red Mage... STILL, the less we know about him the better! So let's move on. |
I can only assume RM will end up telling his story one way or another.
|
I can feel a Mime in the near future.

A few well placed ice spells could bring the tower crashing down. Just shoot them in the cracks and watch them expand.

As for the ice breaking up the tower, there would have to be water in the cracks to start with. Water expands when it freezes, which is what does it. Ice made from water vapor directly is less likely to do the job. Now if BM and RM double-teamed the place with ice, fire, and ice, it would probably work, but as BM and RM are unlikely to do anything resembling agreeing, much less teamwork, much less against a guy RM likes, I don't think it'll happen. |
Well, if Chrono Trigger is any indication, Ice + Fire = Shadow damage, so that could work.
|
It just strikes me as funny that when BM comes upon something he can't immediately destroy, he stops caring about 10 seconds later (depending on how fast you can read).
His readers, however, are still looking for some way to bring that tower down, sort of like its mocking them or something. I mean, sure we could invent ways of destroying the tower all day long, but in the end its BM's will to do so that regulates whether or not it actually happens. |
The sprite of Thief in the first ( and second ) panel looks like he's whistling, to me. It amuses me a lot. Also, I like how in the two last panels there's enough time for BM to not even be in the after-stabbing pose and they're all serious.

I love the tear on Red Mage. It took me a second read to notice it.

If BM does destroys the tower, it would only fall on hm.

The meeting went well, though my head hurts from falling out of my chair laughing. (FOOMCL?) |

I thought no one would say they noticed it. I agree with you, too. XD |

Well my intention with that pose, was to make it look like Thief was crossing his arms behind his back. I also did a 2nd pose, where he's rocking on the balls of his feet.
I don't know entirely what I was thinking, but it seemed like a good idea at the time. SWB |
I still don't understand what BM means by: The only thing an ice spell is good for is a party
|
^Ice cream, anyone? :P
|
and just ice for your drinks... that's what I was guessing
|
I thought of a cooler.
|
I was thinking 'dry ice'... but not so good when all the party-goers freeze to death/ die from inhaling magic.
|
Its good for Black Mage.
|
I tried doing a makeshift cooler one of the first times I roleplayed; the event was used later to refute a statement my character made about not using magic for fancy when someone else wanted her to do something equally frivolous. Basically, this is why I should never have been allowed to roleplay.
Anyway, yeah, "cooler" and "ice cubes" were the first thing that came to mind. Encasing BM in an ice block might be my idea of a party, but it probably wasn't his. |
