A tremendously hillarious series of novels. Its way too hard to detail what they're all about, but you should pick up the collected series (its five books, but stop at the fourth, trust me).

In the movie news...Sam Rockwell as Zaphod...I dunno, and the rest are unknown to me, is it a mostly British cast?

And are they basing it off Adam's previously written screenplay? Cuz he's dead, and they're crediting him with the screenplay...

As far as I know, they will take after his screenplay, if that is after all what they're giving him credit for. He's always wanted it to be a movie series.

And if you've ever seen the movie Willow, then you should definetly know Warwick Davis, who plays Marvin. It may be an all-British cast, but it won't stop it from being good ^__^

Mos Def as Ford Prefect?

Yeah, its kind of surprising but the books never clarified that Ford or Arthur were white or black. I won't let this ruin the movie though, maybe it's what Adams wanted, writing the screenplay and all

Not an obvious choice, and it is kinda weird. Seems at first glance kind of like the "token generic wacky black guy" - part they had in all the seventies movies. But what I say about every actor I don't know holds true: If he can pull it off...

Hmm...I guess Ford Prefect could be black...

If Marvin isn't CG, I'm killing someone...

Also, don't listen to Bite the Wax Tadpole. He's just another one of those whiners who says the 5th book sucks. I didn't know what everyone thought of the last book until after I read the entire series. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it. The whole book was about the 'stupid incident' that occurred to the girl in the first book, and it deserved to happen. It was a funny book.

I hope they don't ruin it.
