The Most Dangerous Game Show: Sign-ups

Read http://www.nuklearforums.com/showthread.php?t=25275 for the basics.

Here are the rules:
1. There will be no more than 21 contestants in this game. Each contestant will have 2 lives. Each contestant will lock in their answer by PMing it to the QM. This answer cannot be changed. The thread is used for deliberating answers. The QM will periodically post who has locked in their answers
2. Alliances between players are allowed and encouraged.
3. When everyone has answered, or 48 hours have passed, the Quiz Master (QM) will post the next question along with how many people lost lives, how many people died, and how many people remain. If the QM so chooses, he/she may post a little "teaser*" along with the last round's results. The QM will send PM's to people notifying them that they either lost a life or died. The subject will be, "You lost a life" or "You have died"
4. If someone has died, he/she may still post answers in the thread, and is encouraged to try and mislead the remaining contestants.
5. If a contestant does not answer a question, they will lose a life.
6. Each question will have ONE and ONLY ONE answer.
7. When less than 10 people remain, the game enters the sudden death round. The correct answers to all previous questions will be posted, as well as the names of the players who are left.
SUDDEN DEATH RULES:
8. Finalists lock in their answers by PMing them to the QM, who will then post that so-and-so has locked in his/her answer.
9. If a finalist answers incorrectly, he/she dies suddenly (Hence the name Sudden Death). The QM will announce the names of who has died. This continues until there is only one contestant remaining.
10. If all the finalists answer incorrectly, no one dies, and a new question is posted.
11. The last remaining person is crowned the new Quiz Master, and gets to be the QM for the next game.

*Teaser: This is a phrase that is designed to give some vague information about who is still in the game. It can be disguised as a mini logic puzzle "If so-and-so is dead, then Whatsit lost a life in the last round." or just be a direct statement like "So-and-so still has both his/her lives" or "So-and-so answered incorrectly on one question."

What can the new QM do?
The new QM can:
-Change the number of lives
-Change the maximum number of contestants
-Change the number of remaining people needed for sudden death.
-Basically, they can change anything with a number, or they can tweak the rules a little, as long as it doesn't completely change the game. I want there at least to be a core set of rules. The only time the QM can completely change or add a new rule is if it is to close a loophole.

EDIT: Closed

Just a question (and I know I should have asked this in the idea thread. but I only now thought of it), can the new QM change the rules at all?

wasoe 11-03-2007 10:36 PM

Ooh, never thought of that...
