Google Ads: The internet wouldn't be the same without them.

Case and point, i saw this on the nuklearpower front page on Brian's tabula rasa rant:

Is it sad that the first thing I thought when I saw that ad wasn't "wow, that has nothing to do with 8-bit theater", but was instead "wow, that is horrible ad copy"?

I like the one about 20% off Pita bread. I find it amusing that they want you to order their Pita and expect to get it fresh. Is it possible to order bread off the internet and have it be fresh when it gets to you?

you can order milk from amazon.

There's an ad right now that says "Bargains on DND campaigns."

The idea that you need to buy them at a discount is funny enough.

Anyone remember when Brian mentioned google ads in a newspost? Then he started talking about different kinds of cheese and wine to trick the ads for some reason...

EDIT: I sh** you not. I'd go find it, Unless one of the team wants to post a link here?

You know, the internet really wouldn't be the same without Google Ads.

Cause then there would be no Goggle, or Goggle would cost money to use.

Also, I heard from... somewhere... That Google was thinking of maybe eventually giving free Internet access to anyone anywhere. (I think I heard this, anyway. I remember the phone companies getting up-in-arms about something...) Anyway, the Internet access would be free because of, you guessed it, Google Ads everywhere.

So, you see, we really do depend on Google ads now. Because Ask.com sucks.

I am insulted. My last login on Gaia was AGES ago and I have no intention of going back. I DON'T EVEN TALK ABOUT IT THAT MUCH!

If Google Ads were designed with brains in mind, I'd probably get nothing but avatars and Paint.NET.

Once, I opened up a message in GMail from someone and noticed that the ads had titles like "A Postive Attitude" and "Discover Feelings."

Bit of an emo bastard, he is.

The love button wants me to push it hard.

Guys, what do I do? I'm scared of commitment.
