Something my grandmother called gunk.
Imagine ground up potatos that were then covered in sloppy joe sauce and then thoroughly mixed up. She thought it was the greatest thing ever. It made me throw up it did. |
Hm, throw some ground meats into there, some veggies, and you got something akin to "Junk" which is something I've learned to make from staying on my own for dinner.

Now, if we're talking just streight-up unusual foods.....I had some kind of meat-on-a-stick dipped in a sweet sauce in Hong Kong. Dunno what I had, but I liked it.
