Nerdy crafts

So I'm a loser and spent my weekend doing this:

(the red one is the one my roommate made)

(He's shiny because of all of the tape I had to use)

Anyway, what do you guys think? I'm rather pleased with it.

Here's the pattern if any of you awesome people would like to try:

Sorry there are little to no instructions. Just figure it out!

I can redo the color to make the Red, Purple, and Blue Link's too, but I won't upload unless you guys really want them.

Anyway, post any other cool nerdy crafts you've done.

EDIT: I will slowly add the other colors here as I get requests for them:

Those are ridiculously adorable.

I made a stained glass triforce ornament for our christmas tree last year. I was a stained glass newbie though and it didn't look very good... Eventually I'd like to make a bunch of VG-themed ornaments though.

*Promptly goes off to get glue stuck in his hair and his hands taped behind his back*

I'm horrible at arts and crafts, but I WILL try this. Thank you very much, Celes.

Oh man, I'd love to see those. Do you have any pictures of your Triforce ornament? And Thadius, will you post a picture of the Link that you do?

Other nerdy craft things I've done(I figure they're appropriate for this thread):
I made a Kakashi ornament for my friend who really likes Kakashi last year:

And my friend and I made a Kakashi cake for her birthday last year:

Other than being nerdy, that cake was possibly the best tasting cake I've ever had, and I've had lots of good cakes. Homemade cakes are the best.

I can read hidegana, so if anyone wants to make a translation of the steps, I would be willing to post it on here.

I can read Japanese too, but I thought the Japanese wasn't steps, those just say what the parts are, like "left foot" "left arm" "head" etc etc. Unless I am mistaken? (which wouldn't be that unlikely)

No, I checked and it really doesn't have that much information, your best bet is just to match the letters to one another.

That, and use some really good gluesticks.

I think my next option is full on tape.

I found this awhile ago somewhere, thought it was pretty cool. I've never tried it yet, but if anyone can actually make it, that'd be super special awesome.
I also have a picture of some Starcraft origami somewhere. Very cool. :D

I have the feeling that that's optimus prime, though I'm not sure.

The link origami is going good for me, I got the torso and arms on, working on the sword hand.

I think I may call it a night though.

It looks more like something from Gundam SD. It's the face plate and eye style.
