Zero Punctuation: Best videogaming editorial ever?

Yes.

Though I have some issues with his review of Phantom Hourglass (mainly, his inaccuracies about how the game works and his complete disregard of the flow of the gameplay), I have to admit his style delivers a flavour that would otherwise irritate me.

Besides, I love the song choices. Though I wonder what he would say about Dragon Quest VIII (or Mother 3, if he really wants to see original IPs).

I like his style, too.

Also, his Halo review strikes me as far more accurate than many of the others which I've read.

It's brilliant, a true satirical way to take on the games industry and with the aggressiveness to take down angry trolling fanboys.

I like it but you people need to stop sending me links to it, seriously.

You can safely assume that I will have seen it.

Holy crap that guy is awesome.

He also has his own personal website, http://www.fullyramblomatic.com/, with years and years of accumulated hijinks in the same vein as the game reviews.

Yahtzee is AWESOME. I already have a link to Zero Punctuation in my sig.

I need to get around to reading his older reviews, though. That'll be fun.

DFM 11-07-2007 04:57 PM

I remember Yahtzee was all like "Holy crap guys Peter Molynux emailed me" and he posted this e-mail and it was Peter basically going "That was pretty funny I hope Fable 2 can live up to your expectations." and we were like "What was funny what's he talking about." and Yahtzee was like "Well this" and posted a link to the Fable review on youtube and we were all "Haha holy shit that's funny are there anymore?" and I think that was just after he'd been picked up by the Escapist, he'd done one review under them at that point if I remember correctly.

That's right I knew about Yahtzee before he was cool and just made those silly adventure games.

Thanks, when I came home and didn't see a new one I was worried he missed a week.

He posts on SA too and i feel kind of proud to post on the same board as he frequents.

My favourite ZP review is probably either the Tomb Raider one or... uh... it's so hard, they're all so good...
