Im back, and need to know what the public wants...

Or whatever. I'm back (Hi to everyone who hasn't been kind enough to deignify me reexistence) and since I've been gone for awhile I've had plenty of time to think up some new RPs.

SO, what would you, the people/public, like more, a fantasy RP that incorporates 'trading' ala Drakengard, or a more down to the roots fantasy with magic and the such (thinking about having it be more FF based since the other FF RP doesnt seem to be around anymore:( ). I have the story for the more traditional one semi-planned out, and a basic outline for the other one.

So which will it be?

I vote for FF style. Only one like that is my comedy thread, be nice to see a serious version.

Well, the demo of Drakenguard quite possibly caused internal bleeding from it's badness, so you might want to lean away from that, although I don't know what "Trading" is...

And the other FF RP is indeed dead. We all got into an argument about what should be happening since Ecurt basically told everyone to go for their own things, and the confusion and bickering eventually turned into the death of the RP...

However, I would be interested in hearing more about both, but I am as of right this second leaning towards the classic FF one.

Oh, it would have nothing to do with Drakengard (I personally lost about three toes from three minutes of the game). Trading is basically where you give up something from yourself, be it your voice, sanity, age, intelligence, etc., and you trade it with a mythical creature, and in return they give you something (In Drakengard Caim *the main player* trades his voice for the dragon's help...). So you could, say, give your sight to something in return for heightened mind powers or what not.

The other FF is basically the FF I've always wanted to make. I have a fairly large story planned out, but I will say that there are chocobos and moogles, but no magicite crystals or whatnot. (Oh, sorry for dropping out of that with no warning, but I was desperatly and futily trying to pick up my F in Pre-calc...and then I got grounded for an eternity, so guess how that turned out)

So I guess that means no return of Dezil and his Magitek goodness?

Well, would it be based on a specific FF, or just all FFs in general.

And the trading thing sounds interesting too. I just don't know how it would work out, since everyone would ask repetedly what the smallest thing they could give would be, and someone would find a way to tweak around the rules and the crippling...

Not based off any FF, its more like how each new *real* FF has some clues that its a sequel, but no more Magitek armor, sorry.

And I'm pretty sure that as long as we keep all the n00bs out, and I control with an Iron fist, the Trading thing won't go too overboard.

Also, the whole trading thing sounds like a blast and a half, I'd take part in it. That is... if ya let me join...

Anyway, both of them sound like they could work out and could be pretty good, so I don't think I could pick either... I'll let others throw in their two cents worth.

Oh I remember MC...you have grown out of the only-BM-or-Monk characters though...

So thats one vote for Trading, and a nega-vote for the FF one.
