Well back at my old forum (prefer not to name it for reputation sake) we didn't really call anyone a troll because most of that stuff was the norm although I tended to stay away from it because well I belive that flaming just makes more problems normally. What we called trolls were Sales people who chat on our forum and try to push a product...

1) What exactly do you think makes a troll troll?

2) Why do you think that people get drawn in by trolls?

3) What is the best way to deal with trolls and the people that enable them?

4) How prevlent are trolls in other forums?

Hey, Sithdarth, I'm going to have to close this one since I don't really see that there's any point to your proposed discussion, or that there's really anyone interested in furthering it.
