I decided to make a comic based on our own forums. Different people will be starring in each episode as the scenario requires. I'll be asking people through PM if I can use them before I make anything. I know the first one kinda sucks, but I have some other really good ideas after this one.

Mætlöaff asked me to use the blue mage because he said he was going to change back to it. I think my biggest problem will be changing people's avatars into actual walking beings. Also, like I said, I need some better backgrounds.

So... what do you guys think? It is funny? Is it a good idea? Has it been done before? Should I continue to do it?

...Just make my skull hover if you toss me in it (that way you won't need to edit it to make it walking). Anyway, if you're going to make it funnier than that one, why not? It could be an interesting little tidbit on the comics section of the forums, particularily if you update it constantly.

Oh, and for the users that use anime characters as their avatars, I'd just find full shots of their character, and you could probably find it in all the poses you want. That's a rather large set of avatars that are generally just head shots.

One more thing... use a different text color for the names below people. It's hard to read that red.

OR, you could use this for my avatar (with it's little base and all)... shove it into a corner somewhere, have it lording over the world (inside that dome thing)... whatever.

The red looked best while I was making it, but I think something messed up when I made it a jpg.

Your avatar isn't one that I'm worried about. It's ones like Caska's and Mashirosen's that worry me. I really don't want to make floating squares if I don't have to. Your's works though, because it's supposed to be a floating skull.

Anyway, I'm going to bed. I'll check back in the morning.

Caska is a cartoon character from somewhere, just ask which character it is and use various pictures of that character to represent. Mash is, currently, a person of some sort... so, again, just find more pictures of that person after finding out who it is. That should work, I think.

Edit: Also, when you get a few more comics up, and you're sure you want to keep doing this, might be cool to see about getting a sticky made where you, and only you, post JUST the comics, with maybe a little text after each one... and then have a seperate (sticky optional) thread for people to talk about them/whatever. It would make navigating the comics much easier.

You are allowed to use my Avatar, though I had a lot of trouble finding mine. I do think there are some people who made Grandia II sprites. I don't know where to find them though, you'd have to search for yourself as I'm a lazy ass.

By the way, I second Krylo's remark about you continuing if you make the comics funnier.

It would probably be easiest to recolor some sprites to look like their avatar or something like that. (Like FFVI sprites, then you would have different "emotions" you could use too because there are a lot of sprites per character in that..) But that's just an idea, I don't know if it's good. ^^;

But this is a great idea. ^_^ I hope you do more of them.

EDIT: and the reason the red looks so blurry now is because of compression to jpg. Compression HATES red and colors like red too. (it always happens to oekaki's I draw that have red in them, compression eats it up.)

If you want, you could use mine. I got a spritesheet over in the "Post your Sprites!" thread that you can use. I do have a few more, however they're not really approtate for anyone under 13.

I think it's a really cool idea, and say go for it. It could be pretty interesting, and I look forward to more comics.

And you can use my guy, he just isn't a sprite... I could point you to the comic he's from however, and you could use some pics from there if that would work.

Looks good, sounds really cool. It would be an interesting comic, filled with insanity at the very least.
