Applying for Bioware's Writer position. Any tips?

http://www.bioware.com/bioware_info/...in_writer.html

I've already got the 15 minute module for NWN ready to go, I put out a resume with a couple snippets of my personal writing, and I'm putting the final touches on.

The fax and e-mail get sent out Monday. Anyone have any tips for me?

Succeed. We need an inside man at Bioware.

Sleep with the hiring manager. Works every time.
Not sure what types I can give, though after editing many dissertations all I can say is: clarity is ace.
Unless you are Proust or Kafka. In which case it all good.

Good luck. Hope you make it.

Also, start blackmailing for all your worth once you're inside to get them to make KOTOR III.

Seriously, though. Just standard job stuff. Wear neat, formal/semi-formal clothes, always be polite, be interesting, etc., etc.

Firm handshake. Honestly. As my history teacher firmly imprinted in our minds, your handshake is your first impression when you first walk into an interview. It should give off a feeling of confidence and competence.

Ooh! Here's an idea (a sarcastic one). Screw formal clothes - just walk in shirtless. Your tattoo is impressive enough.

Guys, this job is in Texas, and I live in California.

I'm not going to be able to take up the firm-handshake-go-naked-while-singing-the-KOTOR-theme approach for a long time.

And seriously, I think it would be just a bit unprofessional to show up without a shirt, bein all "CHECK THE TATTS BEOTCH!"

I just wanna wish you good Luck Mirai. And for all you others, should he get the job, he'd have to sign a non disclosure agreement.

Blah, blah blah, non disclosure agreements don't count for your online alias!

Aw man, looking at that website was not a good idea.

Must... resist... changing to art major....

On a serious note, good luck Mirai! I don't have much advice other than just go for it! Show them your talent.
