This thread is just for rating the game and talk about the game enjoy
oh and any of you who were wondering it means Final Fantsy Crystal Chronicles and its for GC |
really? i thought it stood for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicals, for the GC.
I'm playing through it with my friends. It's fun, but I got stuck as the bucket bitch, so my poor little guy can't ever pick anything up.
I think THIS just about sums up my feelings on crystal chronicals.
I have a question, do you HAVE to hook up to play multiplayer?
Only if you want a game that's any fun. You don't HAVE to, but it's single player is reportedly boring. I'm not wasting money to find out, however.
That cartoon was funny. The game may seem to cost a lot, but considering someone buying FF:CC already has a GC, a memory card, and probably and GBA and cable, all you need to do is use a little peer pressure on your friends to get some cables. It an awsome game that's worth the dough. Still, those sad little peas were hilarious.

That's really not the point... the point is that you first need to pay a bunch for the game. Then, if you don't already have a GBA (which I only bought so I could use it with Wind Waker and Animal crossing, as that I HATE handheld systems [Damn you and your questionable buisness tactics, Nintendo! You got me once, it won't happen again!]), you have to go out and buy one of those... then you have to buy cables, and then you have to go and find three friends who like final fantasy, and don't mind shelling out money for cables, and possibly the GBAs themselves... THEN you can play.
It's just spending a lot more money to play a game then I would ever consider... they could at least have put in a split screen menu system, so that each person could pull up a menu in one of the corners of the screen using normal controls without interrupting anything else, or something of that nature... and then have the GBAs allow for that menu system (which would still be nicer, but would cost the extra $280 [four normal GBAs + 4 link cables, at average prices (60 dollars and 10 dollars each, respectively)]). I would have found the Penny Arcade comic on it... which included buying three hookers to play with, but I was too lazy to look through their archives. |
Well, single player isn't too bad, but a little repetative. Plus it's a little annoying having to pick up the bucket when your moogle gets tired. So you get a taste of the fun part (fighting) and the boring part (bucket carrying).
It's pretty good. My brother and I already had all the equipment to play it when I borrowed it from my friend Steve, with the exception of one cable (took care of that tho).
I kinda wish it didn't come out, because it's the only thing my friends wanna play...so for parties, I have a perfectly good copy of NFL Street sitting on the shelf collecting dust...*cries* |
