And aren't most threads of life only one thread per person, not multiple threads?

TheSpiritOfVengance 03-14-2004 01:13 AM

I noticed but still nice job. I also would like to award IHMN with the two out of three ASCII Trophey!!! (so what if it looks like the stanley cup
edit: It stank had to take it out... I was also wondering about how he gets multiple life threads...

Mlarg. Sorry, I was off making a new avatar.

Hadoken, I was going to add a Chocobo to my inventory but thought it was unneccesarry clutter. Redundant, y'know.

I would like to retain the Chocobo summon for the, potential, humor factor. Additionally it acts as a reflection of Malcolm's personality, to not have a destructive summon as his guardian. I would like to work it out that She (The Summon) is a healing summon. Kinda like the Mog summon in FFT.

Otherwise, a Mog summon with a big 'Hammer of Healing!' (A big, red rubber mallet that heals things when it bops things and makes a sqeaking sound) would be just as swell.

And don't everyone start to thinking IHMN is a great big jerk. Deep down inside, he has a soft spot.

I think it's his pancreas, or possibly his liver ...

BMHadoken 03-14-2004 01:15 AM

Okay, just as long as your transportation isnt your summon.

Demon with a Glass Hand 03-14-2004 01:18 AM

Not at all.

His Chocobo Mount, Shard, is a living breathing female Yellow.

His summon is yet undiscovered, of course, and yet unnamed, of course.

Well, it was more of future sensing and support magic, not "KILL YOUR GRANDPARENTS AND ANNIHILATE YOUR EXISTENCE". While space-time distortion attacks are a part of it... It's not ALL of it. And like the FFTA time mages, his attacks are the "metamagics", like Reflect, Shell, etc.

And part of his motivation is that he acts in accordance to the dictates of fate... IE the ST can basically PM him to do pretty much anything he wants.

I'll wait a bit longer and see what other flames can be generated.

And IHMN's soft spot? Well, pretty much everything is soft in front of a rail gun slug...

TheSpiritOfVengance 03-14-2004 01:25 AM

I think I am goint to need an opinion on this one. Should I have a mount yes or no? I am kind of torn between the two...

BMHadoken 03-14-2004 01:27 AM

Well...I still dunno...why not be a Paladin if all your gunna do is supportive magic...or are ya really stuck on that pic and the whole Fate thing...

No clue what that means.

IHateMakingNames 03-14-2004 01:28 AM

Isn't Reflect, Shell, etc white magic?

And what about stopping time? That's very god moddy, and the basic skill of a time mage.

And sounds like your saying he is the avatar of fate itself... That can't be good.

Krylo 03-14-2004 01:30 AM

He means you can PM him to do whatever. You dictate fate, thus you dictate him... took me a little while to realize ST = Story Teller (I think), as well... which would, of course, be equivalent of DM or GM...
