Warriors: Orochi
 

Really sweet game so far. A lot of the Musou series mechanics seem very streamlined, and the tag team aspect is cool, though I think it prevents each character from having an individual story, but I haven't played far into it yet.

Anyone else noticing that the difficulty curve seems steeper than in other Musou games? I failed Nobunaga's first mission a bunch of times just because one objective or another kept dying.

What is the genre and for what platform is this game for?

I was jsut about to make a thread about this game. I love it. Lots of characters, the team system is pimp, loads of nice gameplay tweaks, and some truly great dialogue. The VO is even pretty good.

Playstation 2, and its a cross over game between the Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors series. The game play is insane and I find myself once more wishing it could run multiplayer with online play. If it had that, I would lose my job and die of malnutrition.

I know what you mean. Normall, with a Warriors game, after about 20 hours, I just cant bring myself to play anymore, I have about 70 hours on this, and Ive never even bothered with co-op yet.

I want to Title™ too!!
 

I've owned the game for I think 2-3 weeks.

I have played it maybe 3 hours or so. Every other second is taken up by the rest of my house's inhabitants. It appearently is that good.

What I have played I have loved! More of the same gameplay, small improvements here and there. It seems they've cut back a bit on graphics and Voice Actors, but I can live with that. I like the additional attacks, and different ways to use accumulated musou.

Only gripe I have is the two players have to share the same set of warriors. At least, in the modes I've played. If there is a way to change this, someone let me know!

Still waiting for a 4 player/online version to hit the series though...

Yes, they're finally pronouncing most of the Chinese names right.

Yup, tsao instead of cow is the biggest one. The only thing that I dont liek is that SW caharacters seem weaker then DW characters because they have less attacks that activate attributes.

Also, if you are having trouble on hard, play battle of Jie Ting with Gaun Ping and a high range and flash stat on his sword. It makes farming 4th weapons easy. I was able to beat that level when he was only lvl 40.

I'm one of the people who steal Loki's play time, I've put in at least 16 hours and I don't even live there.

Of course, Tadakatsu vs Lu Bu basically sold me on the game.
