No, Vivi wasn't evil, and Black Magic can be used for good. However, Black Magic is inherently evil, its main purposes are for destruction.

Geomancy, however, is a power that concerns the relationship between Man and Nature. Neither are inherently evil in my view.

Edit - I would like to point out that there are very few White Magic using villains in FF.

Kiley is a boomerang. I had a character with a kiley once, but the RP died soon after. I should bring him back some time...

It's the weapon version of a boomerage. (Yes, boomerages are NOT weapons! Think about it, would you want ANY kind of weapon that did any good to come flying back toward you? It's like shooting an arrow and it flies to you, pointed end first, not something you want to happen. Boomerages are used to gather fruit and used by fisherman, I believe.) Kileys are a lot like boomerangs (shape-wise), but bigger, and heavier, and they don't fly back to you.
