#932: "I'm hovering over the courtyard right now."
I mean, really. An invisible flying castle? Highly unlikely!

Well, that confirms it. Not even close to tiamat. Not even some wierd skew of a group of dragon heads that he could have posted onto muffin's sprite.

Please note that :bmage: has a featherfall spell.
Which is strangely non-destructive and un-:bmage:-like, but useful nonetheless. Like if one is fooled into falling to what would otherwise be one's death by a dragon. |
I'm kind of not really understanding what is going on in the dragon's head.
Why did it bother living with Dragoon for so long, only to try to kill him ? Why did it bother getting BM on its back and all, only to drop him off at the first occasion? |
Because Muffin, understanding that Black Mage has a great deal of power at his disposal (even if he can't take any punishment at all) and is murderous, et al, would be better disposed of in a manner that is not dangerous to herself?

I can hardly imagine a more :bmage:-like spell (except maybe Hadoken) |
How I saw the past few comics: Oh, wow. Black Mage has teamed up with a dragon and is going to wreck some shit, pissed off the rest of the team, Thief and Red Mage will have to figure out how to deal with Black Mage without Fighter killing them or convince him that BM isn't really his friend. Hoorah character development and plot threads springing up all over the place.
This comic: .. Dragon just spontaneously ditched BM for no apparent reason after showing him where the Air Orb is. BM will likely go crawling back to the group to get revenge on the dragon or whatever, the death attempt on them will go forgiven in exchange for him telling them where the Orb is and the quest continues as normal. Pretty much a retcon on the past few comics if this is true. This was shaping up to be such a cool plot arc too. :( |

As for shacking up with BM (temporarily), I can only imagine that Darko had a hand in that. However, I suspect that Muffin began to tire of BM soon after meeting him, despite Darko's attempts to facilitate a team-up. If that's the case, Darko will step in, and convince Muffin to snatch BM before ground zero (or slightly afterwards). Otherwise, BM will use his Hadoken to get himself to the castle. At which point, Muffin will be impressed by BM's power & attempt to re-enlist his help. With the predictable conclusion that BM won't be able to use his Hadoken at a inappropriate time. SWB |
Look, Dragoon, whether he means to or not, would be able to spear muffin through the heart, and BM was all rip roaring to go Hadoken the crap out of her. Her methods make complete sense: use your foes greatest weaknesses against them. Dragoon's, like fighter, is his blatant stupidity; whereas BM's is his gulability at the slightest hint of possible evil.
...or what Bob said. That works too. |
Bah! It was a regular non-invisible-and-certainly-not-spaceship-which-the-characters-mistake-as-a-castle castle after all.
