I do not know what flaming is. It's against the rules, that's all I know. Someone please explain it to me, and don't hate me because I'm stupid.

Basically? Insulting somebody more than called for.

Ok, here's a good example..

Say I say something is defence of George W. Bush.

Then someone replies simply saying "Bush sucks". This is not flamming, but rather trolling.

If I then reply "You suck." I'm "feeding the troll" as we forum goers call it and thus is the beggining of a perhaps long tedious flame war.

I only insult people when I have no respect for them in the first place, and I don't give respect, you have to earn it, but I give newbies like yourself the bennefit of the doubt. I find the future of any forum in the hands of newbies..

Basically, act unto others as you would act to them in person.

And just like in real life.. I'm either a nice guy who can be your friend, your advisor, and your rival in video games.

Or I could be the guy that craps on your face. But that descision is completely up to you.. XP
