I see Russian letters, radiation symbols, red robots, and Robo in military-ish gear. I wonder what the story will be!

(secretly, I already know)

So assuming one lived in a country with no Free Comic Book Day and wanted to get their hands on this story.

Aerozord 12-21-2007 02:42 PM

I always wondered if free comic book day was national or merely local where I live. Guess I'm not the only one to get yearly swag.

That's a good question, Meister. I'll ask my publisher. Probably won't have an answer for you until next week though.

A crossover with Nuklear Age!!

...I can dream, can't I?

Got a faster response than I thought:

Worst case scenario, the FCBD story will be in the second trade paperback collection. Better case scenario, you'll be able to get it from an online store like Heavy Ink (we have no idea if online stores are allowed to distribute these things though). Best case scenario, CLASSIFIED.

Melfice 12-21-2007 04:02 PM

Best case scenario, CLASSIFIED?

Sounds very ominous and secret.

I don't think it's quite national, because I'm pretty sure we get it up here in Canada. I don't know if it's widely celebrated up here though, or just by our local store.

Melfice 12-21-2007 04:10 PM

Also, and I know I'm spamming it up here:

Code:

Melfice            -- "And the local police found out The Who Let the Dogs Out." zegt:
I'm curious to what this Best case scenario is, though.
M to the eister. What's an eister? zegt:
As am I.
M to the eister. What's an eister? zegt:
Best case scenario, my store participates.
M to the eister. What's an eister? zegt:
I guess I'll ask them.
Melfice            -- "And the local police found out The Who Let the Dogs Out." zegt:
Best case scenario:
The publisher discusses this some more, and they decide to send us Old Worlders those comics, if we order it from them. Hence, being classified.
M to the eister. What's an eister? zegt:
Who knows what they get up to.
Melfice            -- "And the local police found out The Who Let the Dogs Out." zegt:
Indeed.
Though, the most bestest scenario?
Brian himself, in an Atomic Robo suit, comes deliver the comic to our door.
M to the eister. What's an eister? zegt:
I will settle for nothing less.
