Wait, this Azirael guy...Who's monster is it?

Is it DP's char or is he an NPC that is supposed to be hunting your guy?

No, it wasn't just you. I was just trying to get it tied down before it gets even more out of hand.

It is also partly my fault, since I threw in Ashley returning to the hospital in the morning before the events of the evening were finished.

Azirael is a NPC that is currently stalking Foxboy's character.

Well, I'll wait til whenever night rolls around I suppose. Unless of course it is determined that it is night now.

Anyway, does anyone have a clue how many days have gone by in the story thus far?

One?

I think?

Don't let it worry you too much...no need to sooner or later, I make sure everyone gets on the same page...or at least figure out where everyone is...

EDIT

Alright, here’s is what I got.

I’m dividing people up into three groups, and two “time-zones”, based on their last post.

“Night before” are the people who are still in the evening of the “first day”.

“Daytime” are the people have specified being the next day.

“Either/Or” are the people who haven’t specified and who could fit into either timeframe. I would prefer these people post into the “Daytime” category, but its up to you. Let me know in which timeframe you are.

Night Before
Isaac (Toastburner B)
Ralph (ApatheticFoxBoy)
Rocum (deathpigeon)
David (Newb)
Nalin (Teal Mage)
Becca (Mauve Mage)
Cael (rapter200)
Todd (IHMN)

Daytime
James (Hawk)
Jason (lazy man)

Either/Or
Ryan (Frostatine)
Marcus (Krylo)

A lot of the people in the “night before” group are there because that’s what time it was when they last posted.

Again, feel free to post in either time frame, but for those of us in the “night before” category; please make efforts to move into daytime so that we can have everyone on the same page.

Sorry, I made my post with the idea that one or two days had passed by, considering the amount of time between my two posts.

I would classify my time as the 'night after' catagory, so as soon as we reach that time just tell me and I'll post some more. I made a reference that my character prefers to go out at night (seeing as that is when his control over his power is easiest). Until then, I guess just pretend my guy is still trying to figure out what the hell is going on.

Although it seems like I'm just out for trouble, Ryan is just trying to find other PCs not trying at all to find that beast Azireal. I mean, I was all like 'Eh this isnt too bad', then I read Storm of Edges: Azirael can release a large a large number of feathers from his wings in the direction of his opponent. While not very accurate, it does damage a large area. I honestly think you made that just to kill me.

Why would you do something like that Toast? :D

I'm the GM.

It's my job to try to kill the PCs.

Though its harder to do that around here than it is with P&P RPGs.

WHAT? I thought your job was to ensure that we all have a satisfying adventure with plenty of twists and turns and a good plot, or something.

Hmm...But, if that is the case I guess my next post will be so unexpected and so crazy that you won't know what to do. The game itself will shut down for days just for you to desperately attempt to assimilate my actions into the fragile schema you have shielded yourself with all your life.

So, you can try and kill me off before then, but then again, you wouldn't get to find out what craziness I have in store for you.

HeeHee.

Toastburner B 01-08-2008 09:16 PM

At any rate, I figured out a way to get everyone on the same page...or, at least, day.

That means stepping on some toes. But I'd rather do that than to have people worried about posting because the timeline is messed up.

My apologizes.

ApatheticFoxboy 01-08-2008 09:48 PM

Why can’t we assume we’re all on the same day just different times and places. Most people aren’t even next to each other in space much less time. I haven’t mark the time of the Megaplex showing, midnight or midday. It would very easily be tomorrow or Sunday for all Ralph could care. People of the daytime could interact with the nighttime people, ignoring irrelevant character history.

Teal Mage 01-08-2008 10:15 PM

Well, I'm in daylight now. Or close enough to it.

Mostly because it was starting to hurt my head. >_< I'd rather have things resolved instead in-game instead of trying to re-write history. Sorry I stole your thunder there...but it didn't look like anyone was itching to come back you up, so Azirael would of kicked your butt, anyways. :p You'll have a chance at him later.

And check your PM box, lazy man. I sent a reply to you.

rapter200 01-08-2008 11:43 PM

Would it be ok for Cael to find any real information tid bits, or just what you would normally find if you were to google something like that right now. Also I am in daylight right now if you didn't get that in my post.

It would be like typing it into google and looking for answers. Honestly, you have no idea which stuff is real, and what stuff isn't. Don't worry, all will be made clear in time.

Funnily enough I fully intend to do that at some point. I'll get James to research some stuff and have him come across the name Ifrit, which will naturally have the handy description of an incredibly strong fire entity attached to it, so he can christen himself it. Doesn't matter if it's not neccesarily true or not, as the info already exists anyway, in fiction and the like.

Also I apologise for my extremely long posts, but I'm having quite a bit of fun writing them up, especially that last one. Maybe I should stick a summary in each of them as well.

Keep in mind, my character carries a book containing formation on "mythical" beasts.

ApatheticFoxboy 01-09-2008 05:14 PM

Looks like Ralph has finally killed somebody. I think a certain detective dropped the ball. Remember when you rush somebody, you make them do a bad things.

I'm assuming that by detective, you mean Lucas. He's not a cop, just a summoner.

As for making them do bad things...all he knows is that theres a lot of people in this town being eaten. Bad things are already going on.

The Artist Formerly Known as Hawk 01-11-2008 03:07 PM

And that concludes the Age of The Over-long Posts. I'm done, for now. And as I'm assuming most people are headed to the hospital in the daytime(?) I can either not post for a bit until we're all ready to move on to the next day, or I can catch up with you all in my next post, whichever's best.

Bailey 01-11-2008 03:17 PM

I'm not headed to the hospital; I'm headed to the magic shop again, where I will get very hungry and devise an ingenious plan to feed without too much suspicion.

Considering that my victims end up oxygen-starved rather than immediately dead, this should not be TOO difficult.

Flarecobra 01-11-2008 03:22 PM

Mine's not terrably aggressive, except when she's hungary or in need of fluids. Though if someone decides to take a swing at her, suck her up, or anything that'll harm her, she can and will fight back.

The Artist Formerly Known as Hawk 01-11-2008 03:31 PM

Hey Flare, what happened to your character sheet from the first page anyway? I only ask 'cos I've kind of forgotten most of the details for who she is and it would be nice to be able to see it again. Did it just get randomly deleted or what?

Flarecobra 01-11-2008 03:42 PM

Yeah...my monster character's now a slimegirl.

Bailey 01-11-2008 03:56 PM

Well, could you post it? I vaguely remember your old character, but if this is a new one I'd like to know so I know what to see if I encounter you.

Flarecobra 01-11-2008 03:58 PM

Thought I also posted it here, but eh, why not?

Hey Toastburner would it be ok if I were to add a mountainous/forested area around Hampington city. I would like to send Cael to such an area so that he can learn how to control the beast within him. Also if you allow the mountainous/forested area, I am planning to slaughter a bear, would it be ok if a hunter got a glimpse of me, this person wouldn't be credible but it might start rumors like those people who start the "I got abducted by aliens" rumors.

Toastburner B 01-11-2008 11:04 PM

Sure.

...What? I'm about to have a monster throw-down in a hospital. I think a hunter seeing a carnifex eat a beat after that wouldn't be a big deal. :D

Anyways, new discussion topic up.
