I want a true sequel to Alundra. There I said it. None of this "Lets capitalize on the name of something and make a crappy game HAHAHA," bull crap that has been happening for the past decade.

Feh, hate you so much Alundra 2.

Now excuse me while I go replay a game that does the 2D Legend of Zelda formula better than Legend of Zelda.

Amazingly enough, I have never heard of this... "Alundra".... Which console is it on?

Playstation, think of it as an incredibly dark Zelda game where people die left and right.

And you go into their dreams and fight demons to save them and they fucking die anyways. Or their physical bodies in the real world are morphed into hideous monsters which you, as the hero, are then forced to destroy. Mere seconds after having fought an horrific battle against some kind of boss monster inside of their dream with the express intention of saving their lives and souls.

It's really quite dark and pretty cool. You got me jonesin', Ness.

JONESIN'.

And then they brought us Alundra 2, literally one of the worst games I have ever played.

Seriously, I went in expecting corpses to fly from the ceiling and I get bright colors and whimsy, and its not even the good kind of whimsy.

Its like going from FF Tactics to FF Tactics Advance. Except there wasn't a halfway decent game in there to mask the disappointment the story brings.

Also, I forgot how fucking hard this game is. Still, any game that has the line "Why aren't I drinking today? Why don't you shut up before I get so angry I need a drink?" in it deserves me to sit through this difficulty.

I have played Alundra 2 only and I must say that it's pure crap. So, so crappy.

Glad I didn't pick it up, I almost did 'cause the cover was shiny. Then I decided against it.

I mean except that Chrono Cross was on the Playstation.

Once again, at least there was a playable game under all the crap.

Alundra 2 was bad. If it were a Bad Dude it would be bad enough to save the president, its girlfriend, and defeat the Shredder all in one side scrolling beat em up reference.
