Boston, eh?
Well, I'm more than equipped to tackle any challenges you send my way, Zero. I'll see if I can pull up a map of the America circa 1920. Might be useful to have ... |
I will keep track of all stat details, and will either PM you, or tell you in the RP when something happens, like...
Everyone enters a room, to find the previous owner ripped to bloody pieces and smeared on the walls. I will do everyone's insanity chack for them, and I will say who fails it, who fails and is temperarily insane, and who fails and is indefinitly insane. Everyone else will be assumed to have passed it. I will also have a sheet I will update with everyone's vital stats, like HP, MP, SP, and Stats. I will update it and make notations as it goes on (For instance, doing certain things might earn you more skill points to apply at the end of a mission, or as people shoot their guns, I will keep track of number of bullets in the gun, and number of bullets total.) I will also say, try to limit you actions in combat. Thing like talking are alright, but reloading your gun is one round/post, you can shoot a limited number of shots per post, and every extra shot is harder then the last decreasing chances of hitting, etc. I may post a text with combat rules on it at some point soon.) One more quick note, to all people with a revolver, you start off every battle with 5 bullets and not 6, because Revolvers were known to go off on their own if fully loaded. If you decide to always carry a fully loaded revolver with 6 bullets, you wll recieve a luck roll for every post for the chance that your gun just went off and shot you... EDIT: Alright Sithdarth, I got it down. Don't go toss happy in the RP I will warn you, since there are melee fighters, and there will be indoor fighting with no where to run, so explosives will be very dangerous to use most of the time... |

Map Quest hasn't yeilded too too much. Mostly vague territorial maps. Are you working off a map of Boston from the Call of Cthulhu Rp book, Zero?
If so, we're better off using that for reference then anything I could dredge up. |
Bolt action huh, hmm. Alright, I think about 25 bullets should be good, without being too restricting or too gun crazy either.
And you want 60 points in driving? Alright, if we ever need to outdrive cultists chasing us, you will be the desiganted driver... EDIT: Demon, there is no city maps, it usually uses made up locations and general descriptions. You don't need to know hospital names and street locations or anything, you could just be pulling up to the hospital at the start of the RP after a long car drive or something... Maps are only vital for things like house descriptions and room locations. EDIT2: And you only have your gun J Man. I meant for you to inlcude anything that could be of use under items. Housing won't be important I now realize, but things like watches, cars, books (Normal, non-occult), or maybe medical supplies since you have Medacine and First Aid, and are in a way one of the team medics... |

Memories of the car chase scenes from The League of Extrodinary Waste of Fillm come to mind.
And my eyes begin to bleed ... |
I never saw that, but it doesn't sound good... Sounds like that movie was infested with evil Mythos magic if it makes your eyes bleed...
|
Hellboy reminds me of The League (Through previews only since I did not see League/Have not seen Hellboy if it is even out).
And I suggest a new thread.. |
OKAAAAY switch topic!
I have an aribac version of LXG. It was obtained well umm lets say I bought it at a yard sale. Before the DVD came out. Anyhow the english subtitles, are hilarious. the League is called "Super Gentleman Alliance." It gets better dorian grays name in the movie is "space thunder sky f$%^er." And "elephantt" appears on the screen every so often. |
