I wish I knew what you were talking about. Whatever seems to be obscuring the 'O' isn't, and if it were, that would be his pecs. Last I checked (and it wasn't recently) pecs are made up of muscle (mostly) and muscle is made up of sinew.

And I don't know how the RP will be able to move this fast since I will need to be reviewing peoples plans, rolling to see what people succeed at, informing them, and then they can post again. The RP itself will go a lot slower.

Found this while flipping through the manual, and thought I would put it up...

Call of Cthulhu is the only role-playing game where...

The Movement is true...You also don't see any thieves unless there really new. And when they steal something its usually the death of the group. Its a good thing my guy is tiny so he can escape easily. (size 5 hehe) Oh yeah and for future refrence if ANYONE in the party finds a book that says Necromicron on it do the party a favor, destroy it like the one ring...

About character creation, I would doubt my character would have a college degree because back then women didn't go to college very often, right? So I would only get 12 EDU points at the most? >_<;

No, you can put as many as you want. You could have taught yourself the skills you know, thus increasing your EDU on your own instead of through college... But are you still going for lounge singer, cause it would fit in the entertainer category, and wouldn't seem to need that much EDU...

I'm thinking about the lounge singer, then a bio wouldn't be too hard to write, but I'm still considering the idea of an artist or a journalist... Hm. But I think I'll be a lounge singer, I think I already have an idea for her backstory for that.

So her Edu won't be extremely high, but she's not goign to be dumb either. ^^

It would probably be in between college graduate level (16) and high school graduate level (12).

Yes, although if you are mind controlled, I will control you most likely. Also, if your reaction is totally inappropriate to the situation (I've mentioned examples) then I will randomly roll and force you to go crazy in a certain way. Also, there is Temperary Insanity which happens if you lose more then 5 SP in one shot and lasts for an amount of time ranging from a minute to an hour, and Indefinite Insanity which happens when you lose 20% of your sanity in one hour game time (At my discretion timewise basically) and lasts until cured. There is permenant insanity if you ever lose all your SP, but then you are for RP purposes dead, and I take control. I may put up another sheet that gives all the rules and options for insanity.

I like playing crazy.

I don't know what is going on in my family at any given second it seems, so we'll see, but keep an eye out for the start of the RP somewhere between Friday and Monday...

I don't think she will be the fast talker of the group, seeing as krylo has the second best fast talking/bargaining skills, then I have the highest and a 15 in APP. She can be one of the fast talkers, but not the one everyone turns to.

I'm looking thouroughly forwards to being needlessly bitter towards NPCs, actually causing them to hate my character. Yes. Well he isn't a talker anyway. He's more of a stealth/combat fella.

I think the others will vote for your guy to stay behind with the translaters after the first time he interacts with some NPCs...

WE GET TO VOTE?! YAY! In my last Call game it was all rock paper scissors, I will soon start putting out voting propaganda! Yeah right. Thats a very nice aproach FZ I can only hope that your that nice when it comes to later down the road.

HOLD ON! When I say vote, I mean as a group you will vote in the RP on what to do. I will decide the situations, like what is happening and what your current scenario is, but you guys will decide things like, "Who do we send where? What will we look for? Do we go straight to the scene, or gather evidance first?" etc. Also, I want ot add a system for money, but it seems complex and uneccesary so I guess there won't be a money system... I am doing an analysis on all the chars, so look for that later as well.

In the ast RP our characters did Rock Paper Scissors. Which is why our RP was so messed up and we got to big C. Because I always lost Rock Paper Scissors because my guy was blind.

If its not to much trouble I'd like to make a few changes to my character:
1) Change the Sword Cane to the Saber along with the skill
2) Add some demolition explosives (wont be coming along everytime just when i think we might need it)

1. Nice choice, makes that attack 1D8+1 instead of 1D6, but it takes away impale (Critical) attacks.

2. I won't give you any big stuff, but your chemicals have been expanded to make Molotov Cocktails (You won't start with any, but if you spend the time to do so, you can make them), and you will have the ability to buy sticks of dynamite (An engineer doesn't usually carry sticsk of dynamite on him...)

Nothing heavier then those.

Thanks that was pretty much what i was looking for as far as explosives any why. The dynamite might not be used for pure demolition, it could come in handy for a room full of cultist or zombies, most likely zombies cause the cultist would throw it back at us possibly killing the whole party.

Just make sure that none of you do anything out of character. Buying explosives or carrying weapons are out of character for the tiems until you learn what is happening. Until your first Mythos encounter (Which I warn you now will cause all of you to get 5% Mythos points automatically...), none of you know what you are expecting...

I was just wondering is there anything in that book about how much damage it would do if I lit the dynamite then tripped and fell and dropped it causing it to explode in are midst, and how far away one would have to be to not be killed. Just wondering how carefull i should be with that and the Molotov Cocktails.

First off, anyone that wishes to use these weapons needs to add the Throw skill to their char. Just tell me and I will switch around the stats needed.

Second, if you are within range, the MC does 2D6 damage outright to anyone struck by it, and if unlucky you begin to burn (Meaning MCs are good against enemies weak against fire.) The Dynamite Stick does 5D6 (You read right) in a 2 yard radius, and subtract 1D6 for every yard after that. MCs have a 5% chance of malfunctioning and blowing up in your hands, Dynamite a 1% chance.

So, if you deicde to make these, be really, really friggin careful, because otherwise those cultist are going to be scraping you all off the walls for days afterwards...

Why is having weapons out of character? I know there are at least two police like people (Me and some one else), so us having guns make sense.

Yes, handguns at least. But there are people with rifles and all sorts of stuff, so anyone with a rifle or melee weapons needs to go on the first scenario without it. Handguns are okay since they are both common, easily concealable, and stay in character for those wanting to defend themselves, but larger/more unusual weapons that, while useful, are not normal things to carry around will need to be left behind.
