Video Game Shopping List
 

Now, since it's the new year, I've made it a resolution to take charge of my life. So before the year is up, I'm finishing high school, getting a laptop, moving in to my own place and owning one or two of those fancy new systems. I was thinking about getting a Wii first, what with Super Smash Brothers popping up soon, but I'm a rabid Sony fanboy, and a lot of my fave titles are coming out for the PS3. I'm going to get both, just not sure which to get first. Anyways, since I'm buying them January and February, Imma need a few games to get for them. So... any suggestions for my list?

Playstation 3:
Metal Gear Solid 4
Silent Hill 5
Resident Evil 5
Assassins Creed
Heavenly Sword
Killzone 2
Fear
Lair

Wii:
Super Smash Brothers Brawl
Sadness
No More Heroes

Dragon Quest Swords needs to be on that list, as well as Final Fantasy IV and Dragon Quest IV DS, which surely will come out this year.

Also, all seems to be pointing out that Sadness isn't an actual game.

Warhawk (if you're going to take the PS3 online) and DMC4.

Also, Heavenly Sword and Lair were a bit well, naff, so unless you've already played and liked them, I'd remove them from the list.

For the Wii, Galaxy is a must. It is the indisputable game of the year. If you haven't got it already RE4 for the Wii is the best edition of an incredible game that stands strong close to 3 years later. Also Metroid Prime 3 and Trauma Centre Second Opinion are awesome(though TC is a controller hurler). And of course there is Twilight Princess and all the GC games if you didn't have one.

Also Metal Slug Anthology has it's problems but ti's still great fun especially 2 player, just make sure you have GC controllers.

If you're looking at the DS, Advance Wars: Day of Ruin is coming out sometime this month (Around the time of NMH). This one is shaping up to me more War and less "Let's fight to know each other by wasting millions of our own resources."

I'm pretty sure theres more, especially to the Wii list, but I just can't think of them at the moment.

Save about $50 for the PS3 Online Marketplace and downloads.

Spyro the dragon is still an amazingly addictive game.
