Why Final Fatasy X sucked
 

It was the worst, the only reason it was good was that it had voices/good graphics. All the characters suck. It made me sick. X-2 was better. I mean the sequel in never better than the first. It made me sad in the pants.

Wow, this has to be the worst *Name of Game* thread ever. Heck, I'd even go as far to say that it sucked. The only reason it was good was because of the Big O avatar. The thread starter sucked. Any other *NoG* thread was better. I am sick.

Well, now that thats outta my system, how bout posting some actual reasons behind your 'rant'? I personally liked FF10 (and FF10-2). Good battle system, good story. Sure, Tidus is whiny, but not as bad as Squall. The only really negative thing was the Grid System, but once you got the hang of it (and picked your three favorite characters) it wasn't all that bad.

1)All character were crybabies
2)To easy, got all aoens/ultimate weapons in less than 3 days.
3)Tidus cries to much.
4)No way Lulu's tits could be so big.
5)No hard bosses
6)Level up system sucked. Nothing to really look forward to.
7) cloud could have done it better.
8)I hate little made up languages

6 of your 8 reasons are ridiculous, stupid, and explain nothing.

#6 is an actual good reason.
#2 is only a valid reason if you did this without the aid of strategy guide or walkthrough. Or if three days are not marathon sessions.

1) Auron, Kimari and Lulu were cry babies? I don't even remember them ever complaining.
2) To easy? Dodge lighting 200 times, get 0:00 in Chocobo racing, I forgot the rest, but they were much harder to get then any other RPG I have played.
3) Yeah...
4) Yes they can. Have you ever seen real women before? Go watch a porno or the Man Show once, then you have proof.
5) In any RPG bosses can be extremely easy, since they always have a weakness.
6) I didn't like it either, but it was a good idea.

1) I have to agree with IHMN

2) I agree again...although the dodging lightning and 0:00 in the race wasn't that hard. Lightning was annoying as hell though... I kept starting to drift off to sleep out of boredom at around 30. However... finding out HOW to unlock the items? No one dodges lightning 100 times just for shits and giggles... you're either lying or looked at a guide to see how to unlock the ultimate weapons.

As for 3) Tidus's character SHOULD have cried a lot... if you actually care to pay attention to the story line. It's better than if he had taken it all in stride as though nothing out of the ordinary was happening.

4) Again, I agree with IHMN... I've seen tits that big on girls I know before. Girls too young to have had surgery too.

5) The arena fights?

6) There was plenty to look forward to in the level up system. If you didn't like it moving around the grid, that's one thing... but you could glance a few paces up and see that you'd be learning this skill or that skill in a little while.

7) Agree with IHMN again.

8) ...As opposed to having everyone magically speak the same language all over the world, because that would be so much more realistic, right? The fact that the Al Bhed spoke... Al Bhed... added to the plot quite a bit.

I wouldn't go as far as to say the game sucked...But I would say it wasn't the best, and that's about it. FFX is still to this day one of the best RPGs on the PS2, even if it doesn't really compare to the other FF's.

Also, as hardcore a FFer as I am, I refuse to play X-2. Who wants to pay $50 to play dress up for 50 hours? I have better things to do, like drink myself stupid. :rolleyes:

X-2 is the type of game you save for a rental when you've played everything else.

and Tifas were that much better :rolleyes: you don't... get much interaction with women do you? Lulu's are big, but I've seen bigger tits on real women. If they really bothered you that much, i would suggest getting more comfortable with your sexuality

try the monster arena and get back to us. I'd bet money you wouldn't make it past the first few bosses without help of some kind.

ok, so rather than plotting a course through the sphere grid, carefully planning which direction you want to take in order to ensure you're getting the most out of your characters, you'd rather have a system where your only involvement is making the jump from level number 26 to level number 27... riiiiiiiight

which Cloud? you mean the braindead, indifferent autistic "I have no freakin clue that I have two hot women swooning over me" with a complex that makes Michael Jackson look normal Cloud? suuuure :rolleyes:

As opposed to the ENTIRE world all speaking the exact same language and dialect? oh yeah, thats realistic...

FFX was the first FF game I played after Mystic Quest (don't laugh, I didn't have a lot of snes games). I enjoyed it more then I have ever enjoyed a game. I was absorbed into the world. I wanted to kill sin and save the day. It was awesome.

I don't understand why everyone get's their panties in a bunch over this game.
