The megazord sets from Power Rangers. These days they all come in a bazillion different parts and configurations and you can strap the parts onto the Ranger figures to make super Rangers that can fly and shoot laser rockets and everything and they all light up and have uber-action sound effects. It's really quite ridiculous. I still have the set of the first ever zords (Dragonzord included), and really I think that's all you need. Give me the five or however many bots there were and let me put them together with each other, not their pilots.
I suppose, then, that I miss simple toys. These days they have too many flashing lights and sounds for my taste. I don't want my Optimus to talk to me in three different languages, I want him to transform and kick some ass! Oh, and the whole childhood thing I miss, too. |

A wealth of discussion on this very topic (if you look only at the TV side) from about 9 months ago which will probably do a lot to jumpstart even more memories of stuff and realize that you miss the simple innocence of not realizing how crappy TV was and not being so damn critical of every flaw that you perceive, while also reminding you that you watched way too much fucking TV as a kid.
Oh, and my answers are in there. Because I like to be difficult. |

Normally I'd say Transformers and Beast Wars, but hey - we do have Animated right about now, and it's great. |
Most of the shows from the '90s. Old Rugrats (the ones now are terrible), Angry Beavers, Rocko's Modern Life, and Hey Arnnold.

I miss digging in the dirt in my backyard - back then nobody questioned my digging of foot-sized pitfall traps. Now it's gotta be "I'm making a new fence" or "I'm doing something construction-related because I'm an adult."
I just want to make boobytraps! |
Building forts on the clifftops out of bits of wood we scavenged from the forest. No way they let you do that stuff anymore.
And it was late in my childhood but Fraggle rock. Oh man that show was awesome. |

People not caring what kind of shoes or clothes you wore, and ther not really being any cliques. Riding a bike feeling like the fastest freest thing I have and will ever do.
Oh, and Goosebumps, those were amazing, yet now I can't appreciate their genius. |
