Robo 4

Awesome. Pretty funny. Specially the robo song.

I gotta ask though, were all the blank pages intentional, or did I get a misprinted comic?

Kurosen 01-16-2008 04:32 PM

Blank pages?

Sharmandra 01-16-2008 04:35 PM

Yeah, they timed kinda well with the flashbacking, so I didnt know if it was intentional. Lesseee....

Right after he says "It's noted here..."(while discussing hibernation), the next two pages are blank, picking up with the pod landing. Then he throws the rock and mentions how it will keep him sane, then again, two blank pages, picking upwith Day 370. Then as the ship leaves Mars and the image gets staticy, two blank pages, picking up withRobo talking to the President..

Stephen Hawking (in a wheelchair in a large panel on the bottom of its page) appears nowhere in your copy. Correct?

Sharmandra 01-16-2008 04:42 PM

Steven Hawkings himself? No. Just the thing dissing him on Mars.

Kurosen 01-16-2008 04:45 PM

Well, that's great. Whole pages are missing. E-mail Red 5 Comics and tell them that you have a copy of Atomic Robo #4 with blank pages so they can figure out how to fix it for you.

Sharmandra 01-16-2008 04:47 PM

Ok thanks for the help. I was afraid it was deliberate and that I'd look like a total idiot.

PraetorZorak 01-16-2008 10:06 PM

That is rather interesting timing for blank pages. A customer caught unawares could just assume that was meant to represent his hibernation, and then he arrives on Mars.

On another note, at least now I know why Robo hates Stephen Hawking.

Kurosen 01-17-2008 12:26 AM

Not exactly. What happens in #4 is just a part of the battle. We'll get into the origins of their feud one day.

Better yet don't, then seal it up and wait until your mint-condition omission-error copy of Atomic Robo 4 is worth a million dollars.
