As far as stuff like allowing your picture or avatar to be used in your profile page, it would probably be ideal to put up in your discussion page whether that's okay or not. That way you won't have to continuously delete your picture that's getting posted or anything.

2 - it's not overly spammy
3 - it won't exonerate needlessly, like giving Fifthfiend praise

Lurker is an insult...? It just means you don't post a lot. I fail to see what that has to do with new users.

It might be for the best if people took the initiative and made their own articles.

Otherwise people who don't have articles are going to get butthurt, and it gives you alot more to work with if something's already there.

EDIT: There's nothing wrong with lurking, TDK, it's just that when you lurk and you see that everyone already has inside jokes and big articles filled with hilarious stuff that they've said in the past and then they have you...

Hoshit. I remember my first few months on these forums I haunted the 8-Bit section, and actually partook in some of these discussions (generally starting new ones with links to the older ones).

Once enough articles start to go up, I'm going to re-do the frontpage so there's "Pathing" to go through, IE on the front page there's "8bit Theatre" and "Nuklear Age" and "Users on NPF" and "Brian Clevinger" and "Sosa" and the gang and everything like that.

Right now we're just working on getting enough content so that organization is easier.
