Ever celebrated the release of a game?

Ever had a big party on a game release? For example, my friends, on Halo 3's release, invited a bunch of people over, and they had a massive XBL mutiplayer war.

I will be doing something not as big, but in a few weeks, when DMC4 launches, me and my friend Ellen are gonna do a marathin of DMC4, see who can beat the game first.

What have you guys done?

I had one for Kingdom Hearts II which was stupid because the game disappointed so hard it really seems like a waste of time now.

Well, it wasn't so much of a party as more of reunion between five nerds. We may do one more for Brawl.

I have a buddy who's celebrating the launch of DMC4 by buying a PS3.

I plan to celebrate the release of Turok by stabbing dinosaurs.

We kept expecting something cool to happen.

I counted down the days to The Warriors.

And was happy to have proven my college classmates wrong that it would be a good game.

Lots of people celebrated Halo 3 and Halo 2. I was one of them.

I was planning on celebrating DMC4 but it looks like finances are going to be tight and I might not get my hands on my copy just yet. I am so incredibly sad about it I can't describe.

I havn't just yet.
But I might, when I get my hands on Rock Band (haha, see what I did there?) and/or Spore.

I'm pretty sure there's gonna be some celebration at my place when Brawl comes out. Other than that, not enough people like the same stuff I do to celebrate

Im going to celebrate brawls release by not leaving my house for a good week or so. My friend tried to celebrate halo 3, but his 360 red ring'd and it was hilarious. What made it even funnier, was that he ALWAYS was bragging about how he had his 360 from release and never encountered any issues with it. So... he got halo 3, invitied 2 other friends and I over. We get there and hes literally crying. We were just a tad stunned... I push pass him and see his 360 and the dreaded red rings. I struggle to contain my mirth. My legs buckle and there I am laughing my ass off, on the floor, while my friend is crying. And thats why I love the 360.

edit: further driving of the point that it was funny.
