Farewell Codename: Kid Next Door
 

Well, another great cartoon has come to the end of it's run. This show had it all. Interesting and fun characters, well written humor (even the low-brow stuff is still pretty good), overarching plots that lasted seasons, awesome voice work, and some very memorable episodes. (SLAMWITCH!)

But, it had a decent run. So, eventually when they put it out on DVD, pick it up.

And all you fun hating adults can go eat your liverwurst and onion sandwiches.

Oh crap. I remember that. Damn, that was a really good show. Didn't know it was still on.

Now I'm getting nostalgic for the Cartoon Network that was, before 2005 came along and ruined everything.

well sad to see it go, but atleast it had an ending. Pretty much tied up all the loose plots, and gave an ending that was as definitive as an episodic character driven story could be.

There was an ending and nobody told me?! Fuck. What was it about or what?

well to avoid too much spoiler, big scavenger hunt, winner gets delightful children's cake. I know doesn't sound like anything special, but thats because I left out the good stuff

It didn't air here yet... It'll apparently air next month. I hope it doesn't happen like Avatar. I did see one of the last episodes the other day, but they didn't air the two last ones yet, I believe.

( The third season of Avatar was supposed to start airing here on 21. It didn't. It'll start on March, even though they had a bunch of ads for its start, heck, even McDonalds had an Avatar toy that came with the happy meal to help give it more views, but they screw it up by postponing the darn thing two months. )

That was like... the only good cartoon i got left after they destroyed Dexter's lab!! Damn you Continuity!!!!

So true...I kinda stopped watching it after like maybe the 3 season...It's a great show if you're a kid or a adult...What kid doesn't want to live in a huge tree house and what Adult doesn't want to take over the world? XD

I watched the re-airing on Friday and found myself remembering why I liked the show in the first place.

TDK...you shouldn't make claims without backing them up with with some sort of defense like saying why you didn't like the show...otherwise your comments are a waste of everyone's time...no offense just saying...
