Yaplet Presidential Campaign 2008
 

Alright, it's about time we got some Democracy in this crazy chat system we have here! This will be an election, anyone who wants to run can run as long as they are ONE OF THE FIRST 8 PEOPLE TO SIGN UP. And by 8 I mean 9. Actually 10. After the people have signed up, everyone can vote. Votes will be tallied on February 1st, 2008, and the winner will earn the title of Yaplet President!

Note that this title doesn't give you any rights whatsoever except for the right to put it in your signature or something.

Anyway, once you've been selected as a Presidential Candidate, you will be listed in this post, and you have to put "Yaplet Pres Candidate 2008" or something similar in your signature. Everyone can vote only once. You can't vote for yourself. (Actually, if it's possible to turn this into a poll once the candidates are up, I would appreciate it... if not, we'll just do it manually.)

Last note: It doesn't have to be president. It can be whatever title you want. Choose a platform too, if you think it'll help.

No, see, I'm running for President of Yaplet, which I also plan to assimilate into Canada, giving Canada the honour of being first country with territory in the digital realm. The Presidential position is only temporary.
