I stand behind Hk-47 all the way, baby:
Quote:
Definition: 'Love' is making a shot to the knees of a target 120 kilometers away using an Aratech sniper rifle with a tri-light scope.
Statement: This definition, I am told, is subject to interpretation. Obviously, love is a matter of odds. Not many meatbags could make such a shot, and fewer would derive love from it. Yet for me, love is knowing your target, putting them in your targeting reticle, and together, achieving a singular purpose, against statistically long odds.

Meatbags.
It may also be that $60 dollars your mother slips you because, despite the fact that the boots she bought you didn't fit, the ones you picked out yourself were only $40, and she had bought you $100 dollar boots, and didn't want to be cheating you off your full allotment of christmas money.
Now, this too may be subject to interpretation, but I think it really boils down to knowing how things are, understanding how things could go, and having a feel for how they should go.
Now, I did not mention the word "love" anywhere in there. So you might be asking, "What does this have to do with what love is anyway?"
When you've walked in the bitter cold cold to Burger King and discovered that you have less money than you thought, and you can't buy everything that everyone else wanted with yourself, you settle for less and get everything that everyone wanted, minus one thing. Then you meander back to the cold, hand them the hopefully still warm food, and consider that you're happier that things went they way they should have gone.
