I just saw Secret Window and was thinking its seems so unbeliveuble but true.It all comes down to what your thinking the fantasy in your head.If the urge becomes unbeareble you might go insane.The desire takes over you.

It makes you think doesnt it. Can the fantasy in your head cause you to go insane? I myself have my own theory. What if real life is a dream. And when we go to bed, our dreams are actually real life.

Hey, I actually wrote a thingy on that same concept; It was some crazy old holy man describing how he made a religion based on that premise and thus exploited all his fellows. Neat.

Anyhow, I haven't seen the thing in question.

I personally thought this theory was amusing.

I have a nother one. What if were not alive yet. What if were just living in a place untill we are really born. And how we act in this pre life determines where we go when we are actually born.

I thought something like that. What if we're already dead? Given my grade four experiences it wouldn't be too far off to assume that I was already in hell at the time...

Then there's the classic, what if this is all a dream and we're brains floating in jars?

What if we're alien bug creatures in some complex virtual reality machine that makes us go through these lives to make us understand human life and this life is a one second electronic blip to become a memmory in something elses brain?

My favorite is that I'm God and all of this is my creation but that I've merely forgotten how to use my crazy powers...

Or mayby we're all alive in this world and lifes in it goes on? Seems like the most likly one. (Sorry to burst everyone's bubble)

Or mayby this is the stage between your previous life and to next, the "testing stage". the one where they see if they allow you into heaven (If there is one) or down onto hell?

Oh? You wanna play mr philosophical know it all eh? Okay, prove objectively that your theory that this is all completely real and that everything exists as is in fact the most likely. From the viewpoint of epistemology, I see no reason why such an a priori proposition holds anymore water than my theory that I am in fact god.

poke yourself, does it hurt? Yes (Well, depending on how hard ya poke, but whatever) therfore. your living. poke someone else. you feel the contact between your finger and their arm.therefore your both living.

(Was that just me? or did that just sound like a load of BS?)
