Yeah, I notice in general Brawl is much more lenient with moves that might be used to recover - gone are the days when accidentally using Samus' grapple in the air spelt certain doom. Heck, even some Up+B moves don't paralyze you.

Someone should test Falcon Punch for no-flinch frames. Seems like a perfect candidate for the new mechanic. (Also, if Ganon's Warlock punch doesn't have no-flinch, I will eat nothing but spaghetti for dinner for a week.)

I think the new improved Warlock Punch doesn't have flinchless frames, but instead has less of an animation so it's way more difficult to dodge, since he doesn't go all NINE THOUSAAAAAANNND!

Not sure though.

Marth's Final Smash...and it's weakness

So Marth's FS that can kill people at 0% isn't "zOMG UNSTOPPABLE" Good to keep in mind.

Meister 02-05-2008 08:14 AM

I do believe I spotted it right away. I didn't, however, imagine it would KO Marth himself on a miss, that's a pretty neat feature.

Mirai Gen 02-05-2008 12:28 PM

Makes Marth players second-guess themselves rushing to it.

Or maybe just pick stages with walls.

I wonder if Link/Toon Link's FS has the same weakness? I seem to remember them rushing forward at any distance to attack for it...

Link's FS starts with shooting the hookshot - if it misses, you don't move.

the thing is that with Samus, we are never known about her gender till she reveals herself in game (Metorid NES) and while the instruction book said samus was male, it could have been the result of a mistranslation. Remember it was the 1980's.

When OoT came out, they could have made Sheik female (yet hidden Zelda's identity still) I mean there was one female Sheikah (Impa) why not two.

actually ruto mentions being saved by "That young man" in the water temple, sheik said She(that's what I'M calling hir dammit) saved ruto, no interpretation there.

Even before I knew Shiek was Zelda I totally thought "he" looked incredibly feminine. Of course, that was back when the Pokemon TV show was all the rage, and I kind of assumed it was the style in Japan.
