When I get it I would hope to find someone to play through the SSE with me, I love co-op story modes that kick ass like this.

Problem is, I have recently moved, so all of my friends live an hour away. It's not too bad though, because none of them were interested in smash anyways.

Case you can't tell I chose Link.

I chose Pit because I think he has finally replaced link.

Pit is my second choice because Kid Icarus was the second game I ever played, followed by The Legend of Zelda. I hope I find an awesome Pit player to team with. Not only do I think they would work well together in fighting styles, but also they are both in kind of the same setting, medieval fantasy, and they just look cool together.

Man, it's good to have a twin sometimes =P

Also, Eld, you know that the characters you can choose from are different for each level in SSE, right? Unless there's some New Game+ mode where you can play as anyone, which would be awesome.

You can replay any stage you've already cleared with any character that has joined your party.

Yeah, the Dojo told us that months ago. But there are still plenty of levels where you get two players at once.

And what I was really hoping on was someone to play the whole thing through with the first time.

It seems I lied about the regular side a and the standard smash sliding, but you can do Smash up and down while sliding in melee. I coulda sworn I used to be able to. maybe I wasn't sliding... cause I could do it without sliding. Oh well.. but yeah, you defiantly don't slide as much in melee as those brawl videos showed.

Mirai Gen 02-07-2008 12:39 AM

You can definitely slide-smash. That was one of the problems with Marth, actually. You could so simply wavedash and, halfway through, FSmash with perfect sweetspot accuracy. Something that Roy could not do. So really hitting with the sweetspot was almost completely irrelevant in the end, just a matter of perfecting the WD.

Oh man there's so many glitch/exploit fixes, and I love it. This game needs to come out.

Real men use Wink. And Snake, R.O.B., and Lucas.

I'll be out of the country the week it comes out, so I hope I finish The Subspace Emissary with one of my old friends during the Spring Break. Considering it looks a lot like Kirby Super Star we'll have as much fun as in the past.

God yes, hundreds of teenage weekends wasted on that awesome game.

Speaking of which, that reminds me that I should totally put that on my PSP. Be right back.

EDIT: Speaking of which, are there any Kirby videos? He was great in SSB64 and sucked horribly in Melee. I want to know how good he is this time around.
