Yeah I guess I got that wrong a bit.

So you can switch Samus to Zamus with just quick taunting? And the power suit pieces show up each time?
I can see that being exploited. Endless supply of generic thrown items! |

This game makes me fall in love with nintendo again.
Is it legal to marry a company? |
Welp, I guess I have to now.(I'll find a way, loopholes are everywhere!)
I'm gonna set up a Brawl forum, which I'm gonna set up to advertise on the few forums I'm on right now. Question: Besides how you feel aboot it, you guys don't mind if I use Forumer, right? I can't really host anything on me own atm. |
Something I'm noticing from watching videos is that nobody is bothering to learn how to use Charizard because of his low mobility. This is really crippling a lot of the Pokémon Trainer's users, since they want to go from Ivysaur to Squirtle instantly, and by doing the double swap they are leaving themselves open a lot more than usual. The stamina effect also weakens them a lot, since they are using those critters restlessly.
I think it speaks a lot of the Smash Community that they want to go straight for the quick and nimb characters instead of adapting to the sudden change of fighting styles, which is what the Pokémon Trainer is all about. |

It isn't necessarily about that, but it's more about the disappointing impact that, you know, fixing the game had to do with the game.
In Melee the fast characters got faster and the slow characters got manageable. Since that got removed nobody has thought twice about using the slower characters, because now that you can't fastfall to L-Cancel the playing field is - wait for it! - actually level and since people don't want to use slower characters because they can't combo (since they don't need to) it gets deemed 'less impressive' and blah blah blah, I'm a Smash Boards User. Basically scrubs will always be scrubs even when the game engine gets repaired and the exploits aren't there. |
Okay, I've seen a lot of gameplay videos so far and I felt like commenting: I'm not a "pro" Smash Bros. player. Heck, I never played Melee. I usually die twice to thrice on story mode on the n64 at the very hard setting. I tried a lot of times before being able to win a 3 lvl 9 CPU on me battle, and even then I used something cheap ( bombing CPUs with Link ) to win. But I have to say this:
Most people that I've seen that claim to be pros and apparently recognized everywhere don't seem to know what the heck are they doing when playing. I've seen ONE good movie and it was from a guy using Fox in the original beating 3 lvl 9 CPUs without getting hit once in a 3 stock battle. The rest? Pfft. People repeat the same moves over and over, people don't do side smashes, instead doing down smashes in times it'd be way better to do side smashes... I don't know. Maybe I haven't seen good gameplay movies yet? Heck, I really don't know, but that Gimpyfish vs Eggz movie, for example? That didn't seem so amazing to me for them to be considered "pros". |
There will never be squirtle, ivysaur, or charizard mains because of the stamina thing.
The fact is that when you play the pokemon trainer, you are crippling yourself if you don't fight to each one of the three pokemon's strengths. |
