Just looked up the rules.
1v1, one minute match, first to die loses. I'm fighting in like a tournament of thirty. And it's all-items. I'm worried. |
Just remember: Mr. Saturn goes boing. Use him.

DAMNIT! HOW DO I GET THAT UGLY ROCK TO TEACH ME THE LULLABY! You know what? fuck it. I'm gonna go seduce that farm girl. I mean, its the end of the world and I already saved her once... surely she'll put out. If not... well that little one is probably a better age-match anyways. |

Be kind of a sad thing if someone actually went to all the trouble to fake having a game a day early, but it is the Internet, so skepticism understandable. Especially when I tell you I'll be out of town all day today! Y'see, I agreed to go out of state to meet my girlfriend's parents, thinking, it don't matter as long as I'm home by midnight to pick up Smash...but now of course that just means I'll be away from my copy all day. Ah well. I played for like six hours last night. Turns out I suck, but oh what a game.
Anyway, here's some photos. I'm not sure they will buy me any credibility because my camera/photo-taking skills suck, and I'm in a hurry. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3142/...73a694a2_b.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3086/...d7091ccb_b.jpg In case those links don't work, here's my flickr page Like I said, I'm outta town till late tonight, by which point everyone will have the game, but my friend code is 3308-4201-5710. Anyway, for anyone who cares, I got the game from a shady little hole-in-the-wall electronics store in downtown NYC. The kind one would normally avoid unless buying overpriced portable CD players or cell phone covers. I don't know why I never thought of trying to buy games early from there before -- of course a dinky little place like that has nothing to fear from breaking the street date... |
Wish me luck tomorrow when I try to find a store that has the game in stock.
:( |
I think I can get in on the "tourney" thing my Gamestop is doing. They called last night to tell me "get there at 10 to do things" since my mom was unspecific, but I assume I can still get in.
Also, RT, DO NOT play the song of time! SONG OF DOUBLE TIME, STAT. |

I'm sad, my parent won't drive me to gamestop tonight at midnight. Saying they want to buy it for me for my birthday. I try to tell them that by then it will be impossible to find by Friday, but they don't care. :(

its snowing, roads are already terrible, no sign of stopping anytime soon. Traveling to the game store would be an illresponsible and probably dangerous attempt. Good, probably means a shorter line
