I'm going to pick mine up from the Gamestop at midnight. Only problem is, I don't have a driver's license (also no car, but that's because of no license) and the last bus back leaves at 11:40 or so. I'm planning to hitch a ride back downtown with one of the other folks to show up for launch minute - if you don't see my friend code in this thread and the nuklear wiki tomorrow morning, it's because I hitched a ride with a kidnapper/murderer/alien abduction hologram. Or I wasn't able to hitch a ride at all and and got lost.

Man, got home over an hour late due to weather-related transit trouble, which woulda made me miss the midnight release by that much. But now, it is time for SSE until the wee hours of the morning.

Little tidbit I liked: "WE LIKE IKE! WE LIKE IKE!" crowd chant confirmed. I got to play the Japanese version once a few weeks ago and I remember being sorely disappointed that wasn't Ike's crowd chant in that version. It's the little touches.

Yeah I got it myself and I'm going through the Subspace Emissary mode right now. I'm stuck in some damn room at "The Lake" stage with Fox and Diddy Kong. As soon as I enter the door at the bottom of the cliff with the red koopas the room is lit for half a second then goes completely black and there's nowhere to go and noway to exit. Anyone know what the hell to do here?

Also beware I had trouble getting my Wii to load Smash Bros and it took about 10 tries to do so. Note that it had no problem loading my copy of Twilight Princess each time I tried doing so and my brand new copy isn't scratched or anything.

Edit: Nevermind I figured it out. You've just got to attack the top-left corner (attack straight up) to get out of it.

Solution: There's an explosive block you need to trigger directly above you. Try an up-smash or an up-aerial.

There needs to be a separate topic for those of us who do not own Wiis to, like, totally weep and piss and moan over our lack of Brawl.

I'm actually going to buy a Wii for Brawl and Brawl alone in, like, three weeks, so at least this will be a moot point by then. Until then, I really should no longer show my pathetic non-Brawling face in this glorious topic.
