Anyone know waht the fuck was going on during Dante confronting Agnus?

Why the hell was confetti falling from the ceiling, and why did it seem like a theatrical performance and a monologue at the same time?

Because they were fighting in an opera house. The weird, pre-fight build-up is basically Dante and Agnus going back and forth in a bizarre rite of one-upmanship in front of a huge imaginary audience.

I actually chuckled at how ridiculously overracted Dante's lines were...

I liked how Nero got his own move ripped from SF in the form of a Final Atomic Buster.

The biggest issue with the game is those damn dice games. They are so fucking annoying I cant even believe it. Why would they force you to play a chance game to proceed in a game as fast paced as DMC?

I dug the dice game.

To be fair, though, it fit the older DMCs better than it does DMC4...

Just beat it on devil hunter. Didn't use a single item the entire game.

Though I do have a question--I fucked up during the end scene (didn't realize the little bastards could attack Kyrie)--so I figure I'll ask before I bother playing the last stage again, does anyone have any strategies for that?

I'm guessing there's another scene at the end or something, like 3 had, if you kill enough baddies.

Also: I have this to say--I was sad to not have Nero's arm anymore when it switched over to Dante. Then I got Lucifer. Now I don't know which one I like more.

I beat every boss from that point on with Lucifer, and only switched to Renegade like... two or three times before I got the hang of Lu. God that weapon is awesome with maxed weapon master. Twenty exploding knives in my boss, please.

I'd just like to say that I have no money to pick up my copy yet, and for that I hate each and every one of you motherfuckers.

I mean I'll stop hatin' about Thursday this week, but still.

If you protect Kyrie for like a minute and a half or something like that then you get another scene.
